Have you ever met your hero ? 🤗
Paul McCartney is a musical genius. I met Glenn Anderson of the Edmonton Oilers.
I also met Paul McCartney on stage!
@@usmc12345678910 amazing!!
@@christellebilodeau indeed! I proposed to my now wife in Philadelphia. You can find it on UA-cam!
@@usmc12345678910 woahh I'll check it out!!! 👍🖤
I SO get it!!!!!! 1st generation Beatle fan. Your story had me smiling and tearing up at the same time! I "met" Paul McCartney backstage at a concert in Atlanta in the early 90s. He went by the medical office on the back of a golf cart and all I could do was scream "PAAUUULL!!!!" He looked right at me and said "How ya doin'? You havin' a good time tonight?" I screamed, "YESSSS!" That’s all I was capable of.
I've watched a lot of the videos of Paul bringing fans up on stage and signing things for them, but this is the first one from the fans point of view and reaction. Thanks you for sharing. It was beautiful. I remember reading an interview of him back in the 80's where he commented that he couldn't see himself singing the 'harder' rock songs in his older years because he thought it might be foolish. Now, 25 years later, he's singing those songs because the fans want to hear them and he wants to perform them. He'll go until he can't go anymore.
This was so worth the watch. I was tearing up as you narrated this. Admittedly, what else could someone say to Paul but simply “thank you”?
Thank you for watching!! 🖤
Thank you for sharing that special moment in your life , Christelle .The pure joy and emotion in your voice , tells it all . Love your drawings as well .
This got me so emotional 😭. Thanks for sharing this awesome story! It really moved me when you said how Paul's gesture motivated you to keep drawing.
I also love The Beatles and if Paul approved of my music I imagine I'd die right there 😂.
Keep it up! Your art is incredible!
Thank you for watching 🖤
What a wonderful video. This made my day. I am 64 and have been a huge Beatles fan since 1964. I actually teared up as your complete joy overwhelmed me. Your drawing of Paul is stunning!
Thank you very much!!
I actually teared up too!
I can’t tell you how much I love this video! Such a great story ! I totally understand you waiting outside for 2 nights, my friends and I travelled from the USA to Liverpool to meet Paul at a book signing- we camped out in front of the store for 3 days in the freezing rain! 😬 But it was totally worth it to meet him ! He does change our lives in such a good way, doesn’t he?
Love all your drawings! There are very few people who can actually capture the Beatles, and you are one of the best!. Take care!
Wow thank you so much for your kind words!! 🖤
Ps : I'm so happy for you!!! 🤗
you got to meet the world's greatest composer...and it turns out he is a great guy!...what a memory! good for you Christelle!
The part where he points at you and your reaction gave me all the good feeling chills. Love this so much. Thanks for sharing such an uplifting, inspiring and authentic experience!
Thank you for watching Mark 🖤🙏
Great story. He looked like he didn't want you to leave the stage! I'm hoping you two will meet again and be able to spend more time just hanging out together.
awww thank you very much :) I hope so too !!
Happy you. I think it's a dream of everyone to meet him. And the thing with your hair and why he runs his finger through your hair is that your hair is beautiful. There is something special about it. Everyone here is saying this to me. 'She has beautiful hair' is what i am hearing all the time when i show somebody this video. And i think in meanwhile it's your trademark of you. Love this video. Thank you for posting it.
Oh thank you 🥰
Amazing story... Im also a Beatles fan... Dream come true, congratulations.
Thank you for watching!!! 🖤
I love this! And I also had a brief moment with the man! The love he puts into the Universe is unbelievable! You can definitely feel the kindness vibration!! I’m so glad for you, and glad someone has shared a similar experience! ❤️🙏
What an amazing experience! I'm so happy for you - I can truly understand why this is such a huge thing for you. Thank you for sharing 🖤
Aww, thank you for watching !!! x
It’s fabulous! Looks just like him in 1964. I actually heard a story of a girl that met him on the streets of London. She goes “OMG it’s you!” He said “Yeah it’s me“ she told him it was her birthday and he gave her a hug
Incredible Story! I feel like I was very lucky just to see him perform live! So glad this happened for you!
Thank you so much!!
Christelle, I am so happy for you and you have a wonderful way of telling your story. So glad I came upon this. I was 10 years old when the Beatles came to be so I have loved them almost all of my life. Saw Paul twice, once in Philadelphia and once in Foxboro. He is such a great person. Thank you a million times for sharing this experience with us. 😊💕
How very special for you. You are so blessed to have met one of the Wonders of the modern world. Brightest 🕯️ Blessings
Thank you so much 💕🙏

You're more than welcome. I fell in love with Macca back in 1963 when I was eleven. He was the most beautiful man I ever saw both inside and out. He still is.🥀
What a cool moment! Its the dream of all Beatles fans! You're so blessed. Greetings from México City Christelle!!! 👋🏻😃🎶
This was great,I'm so happy for you Christelle,I'm also a Canadian and Paul McCartney and the Beatles are a huge influence on me as well, next to my family and my God the biggest influence,I'm a musician today because of Paul McCartney and the Beatles,I doubt I ever would have picked up a guitar without the Beatles, again I'm so happy for you and your portrait is really very good! Bob
I can only imagine how you felt. He is my biggest single influence as a musician. You are so lucky!!!
omg, so beautiful 💓 you’re very lucky!! it has to be the best moment of your life! 💐 congratulations!
Thank you so very much for your wonderful story. I cried most of the way through. Thanks again.
really nice to see a video of someone happy and sharing a personal happy moment in their life. your drawing looked awesome too. no idea how this came up for me on UA-cam but glad it did. much love
thank you so much for watching ! :)
The Beatles will still be talked about 100 years from now and your great grandchildren will be amazed when they watch your video for the first time.
Thank you !!!
Wow!!!! Beatlemania is still alive! I could feel your excitement through the screen, got me smiling the whole time. What a great memory you have, I'm so happy for you! This is my dream and I still hope I can meet him one day... It would most definitely change my life too. Cheers ;)
Amazing story. Fantastic description of you meeting Paul. It gave me goosebumps.
To have all the photos and video as you recounted the memory was incredible. It was like we were all there with you that evening.
Thank you for watching 🖤
No words! I’m glad for you! Meeting Paul was always my dream since 1976 so I can imagine how you felt. He always take care of his fans, even with The Beatles he used to look at the cameras and blinking an eye or giving a smile. Some people use to talk about his ego but never talk about all this care and love he makes. ❤
Congratulations Christelle, you have to be a Paul Mccartney fan to understand what you are feeling.I think everyone who love and listens to any McCartney music is a family which we all share the same feelings. So happy your dream came true.thank you for sharing your story because I would be sharing all the little details the same way.🙏
(i speak spanish but some english too)
that was amazing !!!! It´s a magical gift !!!
for me Wings and Beatles are the best bands ever
Thanks for sharing this beautiful memory , wich is alive for you forever
Thank you for watching 🖤
It makes me so happy to see he is spreading joy to people and those people...people like you are spreading that joy to us =) It doesn't take a whole lot to change the world =)
you were so..so...so lucky Christelle! I would never see one of the Beatles LIVE in my lifetime! you did...it was legendary!
Qué momentos tan emocionantes viviste. El concierto, la firma, el beso, el abrazo, la caricia en el cabello, uf. Felicidades, una inolvidable y emotiva experiencia ❤
What a lovely story, thanks for sharing!
thank you !
I really lived through that moment with you, Christelle, as you narrated - that was really something! Thank you! It was when you discussed seeing his face, seeing the real human being - and I thought, yes!, he's real and still alive, isn't he? How he's continued to be so generous with people in terms of his times and his affections, SO many years into his fame... it's pretty amazing. He's a unique person. Seems so approachable for being the most famous person on planet Earth. I take this - your video - as a wonderful tribute to him.
I agree with you 100% !! Thank you so much for watching x
Gracias por compartir esa oportunidad de estar con el legendario Sir Paul McCartney 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
What a fantastic moment to meet Paul ! I saw Wings play at the start of their world in Southampton, England in 1975. What makes your moment even special is you’ve got the video and photos taken of you and Paul. And lastly, your fantastic signed portrait of Paul. A great memory to last forever! 😊
WOW ! Wings in 1975 ! Must have been a fantastic show. Thank you so much for watching :)
@@christellebilodeau No, thank you for posting your video! Its lovely to hear about fans encounters! Yes, the Wings gig was FAB! My older brother managed to get tickets! It was the first show featuring the new line up which included Jimmy McCulloch on lead guitar, and Joe English on drums. For me that was the best Wings line up. The best UK Wings gig would however be the following year in 1976 as the setlist would include songs from the Speed of Sound album. Unfortunately I couldn't get tickets for that show!
Christelle you are a true fan and a fantastic artist!
thank you so much !!
your perseverance led you to meet Paul McCartney. I could feel your experience as if I was seeing it .
Cheers!
I came across your channel while looking for Paul's drawings to compare with mine, and of the ones I saw I liked yours the best.
I would be crying the entire time
This video is so enjoyable. I have watched it twice. I am a big fan myself, and I have been to several of McCartney's concerts in different countries. On a couple concerts I have made a small sign (like half a regular A4 papersheet) with a message to Paul. Both times he read it, pointed at himself, making a face like asking me "do you mean me?", and I nodded and smiled, and he smiled back. The feeling was intence and I started shaking, and it was just him and me for a few seconds. There is something special about that man. I mean beyond beging the most talended musician I know.
I also want to add that the drawings are wonderful, and I would touch that nice hair as well if I had the chance 🙂
Superb vid ! I met back in 1972 ....i was 16 ...he was a gent then too ....him and Linda at Elstree Studios !!! I will never forget ! 20 minutes in their dressing room ! So kind ! The GOAT !!!
I’ve never seen Paul live and I’m confident that I’ll never meet him, but seeing all these videos and clips of people meeting him makes my heart so happy, and I’m very happy for you! This is definitely a core memory for you 🩵
Beautiful video, Christelle. It was a lot of fun getting to see you watch and talk about meeting Paul.
Your drawings of Paul are excellent. Would love to hear you talk about your favorite McCartney songs.
What a great story, Christelle, and thanks for sharing. What a moment!! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
thank you for watching !! :)
I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!! What a great experience, he gave you such precious gifts--confidence, a warm hug, and a memory that will last forever!!! I'm in tears with you watching this and you are braver than I am because I *absolutely* would have fainted when I came face to face with him, LOL!
I'm so happy for you, your so lucky to meet Paul McCartney. I'm emotional to. Love these so much!!!❤❤

Hi there ..I am a Chilean guy who when the Beatles became popular in the country I was 12,and back then, not many people had a TV set, so the only means you had to see your idols were magazines and newspapers,.. so when the movie Help came out I went to watch it about 11 times ...was the best chance to see my heroes ...mind you ..the movie ( thinking back )......it was terrible ....but ...who cares! don't you think ?..Christelle ... greetings and congratulations for your awesome art !! you are incredibly gifted ....and most of all ......one of the few lucky in the world to have met a legend like Paul MacCartney !!

Christelle I'm 65 and I remember watching THE BEATLES on THE ED SULLIVAN SHOW way back the greatest band ever. You are one of the chosen few that was lucky enough to meet him . Very happy for you. By the way girl you are very very talented great drawings.
Hello, I just ran across your video and am crying right along with you, as you see, I too was on stage with Paul - TWICE!! No words will ever be able to express those moments, nor will time, things or people be able to take them away from you💞 When people ask what did he smell like? He smells like Angels, or should I say, Angels smell like Paul 💖💖
Wow what a great story and dream come true,You are blessed......
Love the emotions behind this video.
thank you for watching !!
@@christellebilodeau thank you for your reply (and with a heart) you old softy
You’re so lucky!!! I wanna meet him so bad and tell him how much he means to me and I wouldn’t be a musician if it weren’t for him
Was lucky enough to “meet” Paul several times and also attend Wings concerts while stationed in Oxford with the US Air Force in the early 1970’s
Oh wow this video is so good I was watching it while making breakfast this morning. I'm so happy for you, it's a huge mileboulder stone 🤭in your life. I'm so happy to see you being picked out in the audience to get your drawing signed...I got shivers when you told this story. It's fantastic that this moment with Paul inspired you to continue with your work as an artis. Othere wise perhaps we would never see you on IG. He couldn‘t resist running his fingers through your hair, because it looks so soft and shiny :-)
Bless your heart!
Keep going with your art, Christelle x
Beautiful moment. Thank you for sharing it and for showing the signed drawing. Yes, never sell it, it’s an amazing keepsake!
So happy for you! I have met Todd Rundgren and even had birthday parties with him and his Utopian family. Pictures are on my Facebook page! I also love to draw.
Aw that is amazing! Love Todd Rundgren, I bet he's super nice 🤗💕
you made me cry with you
Your drawing looks very good. Congratulations on meeting Paul and him signing your picture of him.
Love Paul McCartney
Hey Christelle! My young gf, pictures here loves my Paul story. I saw him in 1976 in Tucson AZ, on his birthday.
My best friend and I got there at 4 am, general admission seating...we were in the first few through the doors later and ran right to the stage barricade, parked ourselves right in front of Paul's bass! Of course ..
When the lights went down, Venus and Mars began...those first quiet notes finding their way across the audience, dry ice in the air, confetti everywhere starting to fall...then Rock Show exploded out the amps, the lights instantly came on bright, and there was Paul McCartney less than 10 feet from us, probably 5, and it was beyond surreal! He was like a god... talented, beautiful, near but still in a bubble...and I thought ..that's a Beatle right there! Maybe The Beatle...and I can almost touch him. Just being this close had made time stop, opened the portals of the universe, and is always going to be a miracle in my life. That this 16 year old kid, no job, high school , drummer, no money....got the best two seats in the house with his friend Jeff...At Paul McCartney, Wings Over America !!!
Your artwork is beautiful and to actually meet Paul himself....wow!!!!! Meeting him obviously meant so much to you. Loved your story. Well done.

Beautiful drawing!!!
thank you !
thank you christelle....enjoyed that
would really like to meet him too
been inside his childhood home :) (and john lennons)
before a concert that i went to see him, there was a big screen above the stage, you could ask him questions by text and it would come up on the screen.
I asked, for some reason ' do you remember the royal iris?'......I didnt get an answer, but on his next album there is a song called 'that was me'
its says.......yeah, that was me, royal iris, on the river, mersey beating, with the lads, that was me.
too much of a coincidence for a random question :)
Congratulations!! What a lovely experiencie!
What a great story..you're amazing 👏 and beautiful 😍
Thank you so much for watching !!
WOW! You drew that??? Incredible! Im a 66 year old retired grocery clerk, I don't think anyone will be drawing me! LOL. So happy for you that you got to meet him. It's my dream also. I know it will never happen for me, but I'm really glad for you and yes things like this can change your life. I've been an avid Paul fan as well since 1964. Hey maybe when my time comes God can set something up for me up there? Will be a long line!
I'm glad you had such a nice time. I think the band liked you too!
