    I'm always blown away by "normies" really angry, aggressive reactions to the barefoot shoe concept/ ethos. I'm a xero fan and can't imagine I'll ever be on a raised heel shoe ever again.

      Agreed! I bought my first pair of Xeros about 18 months ago and I'm not going back to regular shoes! I can understand not being on board with barefoot shoes, but I don't get why anyone would be angry about it.

      To each their own. I changed to barefoot 4 years ago after not being able to run or walk long distances without leg/hip/foot pain. I can now walk all day… no matter the terrain.. without pain. I might get tired… but my feet and legs won’t hurt, and that to me is worth it.

    Great video. Eloquently laid out points about sustainability, fully justifying a switch to Xero shoes. Well done!

    Great review! I know they are wide but would my size 11cm wide foot have enough space in them. Trying to go minimal but fining very hard to find shoes that cater for us with really wide feet. Thanks

    How is the midfoot width on these? I recently tried out some lems zen and everything was perfect apart from the midfoot being too narrow. Now I'm considering these.

    Please do a review of the new Mesa Trail 2, and perhaps give an update on the durability of the Mesa 1 if you’ve had it a long time. Some people complain about durability on the uppers, and wondering if the Mesa 2 is better there. Generally though, looking for this to be my new hiking shoe instead of the terraflex 2 (which are too stiff and lack sufficient ground-feel). Thanks.

    I run in 5 fingers but these are the only other minimal shoes I would consider using. Nice review!

    I like how she says natural feel and she's still heel striking.
    But great review I'm definitely grabbing these.

      Seems the shoes are quite padded underneath for traction, so she doesn't really feel her heels. Quite sad

    Thank you, I like your guy's Channel, I have learned some things. Plus it's nice to see other vegans.
    I have been using Newton running shoes out of Colorado ...and all of there shoes are vegan, including the adhesives since 2018, but there trail shoes are too colorful for me. Now I know there are other vegan trail shoes that have different color options.

    These or terrarlex?

    • @Terradrift
      @Terradrift  2 роки тому +2

      I believe the Terraflex are just a biiiit more rugged with slightly deeper lugs. We haven’t tried the Terraflex, but they are the same basic style and construction other than that. Does that help?
