John Fergus was my daddy. He passed away 5 weeks ago. RIP daddy we love you!
Danielle Fergus sorry for your loss sweetheart...
Be proud of your dad... he was a member of a really good rock band, together they were ... ace really!
Feel good about that..
And do your thing now ☺.....
Love.... R.
Ricky Scott thank you Ricky- what a lovely thing to say. My daddy was a trip lol. Miss him so much 💖
That's alright sweetie.
Think nothing of it.
Take some time, and maybe do something cool of your own eh?
I wish you much luck for the future.... R
Hey. ..
One more suggestion , as this is is really about music loving...
Listen to this , it might might do somethin'....
Peace and quiet 1968 (?) -country song. Just listen.
Love and peace. Rickster . xx
Ricky did you know Steve Williams and Ron Armstrong or Bob Desnoyers? And yes I will listen to it :)
Those who say "oh I wish I'd been alive in 19__ don't realize just how good they have it. YT sucks on some things, but here you get to listen to LPs you never heard before and/or a lot of old favorites. First time listening to Jamul; I missed a lot of good music.
Harmonika jak Led 👍👋👋👋🤠✌️✌️✌️✌️😝

Got addicted to Jamul while they were performing live at "Finnigans Rainbow" in Costa Mesa, Calif. Before this album was recorded. They are the best ever !
what can I say,music from heaven ❤❤❤❤❤
Bob Desnoyers is my brother. I just listened to the entire album. I have this on vinyl, plus the 45's, 8 track and reel to reel. Also have a cd of a second album that was never released.
+Nino Desnoyers upload the 2nd album brother pls!!!
+Nino Desnoyers Please Hook us up, Dude !
Just stumbled across this. I worked with Bob way back at Cubic Corporation. Have many times wondered what became of him?????
+Sheryl Hanger did a lot of smokin get done down there, would you say?
Congrats!
Great album by a great band. A pity they did not record more great music for the world to enjoy.
Movin` to the Country gefällt mir mit Abstand am Besten, der hat was, was mir die Augen öffnet und den Geist frei macht! Danke für das Hochladen, Bloody Sabbath!
23.11.'22., city Minsk, Beloryssia ❤️, thenks, merzy, danke, Gracias, Dziakyiu, spasibo ❤️❤️❤️❤️, больше всего похожи на группу The Cactus,😎.
This is seriously monstrous. I hear Jeronimo, Blues Image, Free, Mighty Baby, Frijid Pink and all that good stuff. Even a quick dash of CCR and Steppenwolf every now and then. Great choogling guitars, raspy vocals, and killer harmonica.
Even a little dash of Dylan
The singer has a similar sound to Rod Evans the first singer in Deep Purple
Concur with all of these descriptions. Spot on
A good blues band I' have never heard of, great harp playing. Classic goodie.
I really, really miss Bob Desnoyers. I believe I was the first guy he met at Sweetwater High School when his family moved to National City from Mechanicville, NY. We played together in several bands and had amazing good times. I've been listening to all the Jamul cuts over and over for the last month. What a good band. Bassist John Fergus passed away recently. I guess we all have to go eventually but it's so sad when good friends go away.
The only things guaranteed in life are, "death and taxes ".
I'm 72 and more of my family (that I knew well) are gone than are left behind. It's sad, but that's our destiny.

I was in grade school at Jamul Las Flores when Sunrise Over Jamul was being played on the radio.
Wow! And the band was named after our tiny lil' town. JAMUL SWINGS and JAMUL ROCKS too. Thank you to JAMUL band members and RIP John Fergus.
Os anos 70, musicalmente, foram mágicos! Muitas bandas pesadas, desconhecidas e excelentes!! Gostei e agradeço-lhes, pela postagem!!

this band blows
Peace be with you John Fergus, thank you. Play on bro. 4-14-18 He's a rock star in my book.
I was born in 1970, and so I scour UA-cam looking for albums released in 1970 (or thereabouts). This is definitely one of the better albums I've stumbled across. Very easy to listen to. I actually prefer their version of "Jumping Jack Flash" over The Stones version.
Yeah , that's right, super cool, j.j.f.version,👍🎶
Just heard today on college radio. Great version!
Have you heard Cactus (featuring Rusty Day) yet? Their debut album came out in 1970. Awesome stuff! If you like Jamul, you'll love Cactus!
Excellent album. I had never heard of this band before.
Thanks for posting this.
I had never heard of this band before, and of all places, discovered this Lp in a Goodwill. I took a chance and took it home. So very glad I did, and it was in really great shape, so yeah, I think I did well for $1.
Do you put than this on if not who care what you find, point is on sharing with other's
@@vladdoder1522 ??? I don't follow your complaint. I just found this album, found how much I loved it, and am on here to share that with everyone. I'm so sorry you take offense with my post. Best of luck with the English lessons brother.

Great album.
Thanks!!
Great harp 10/10 would recommend
I used to see these guys in a small club in Chula Vista when I was in the Navy stationed in San Diego. I believe they initially called themselves the Jamul City Funk Band. They had at least one opening slot for some British heavies at the SD Sports Arena, I forget who even though I was there ha ha. Maybe the Who in 1970. Fun times.
Really cool rock music I never heard before.
I wish I could hear the mythical second album. What an awesome album. Wish I had it all formats. Do have the LP though !
Brilliantly good. Loved so much.
Love the adventure of discovering ""new"" music.
Excellent band simply
I may be wrong...but I believe I was the first to play this incredible group on KDEO - 910 AM! Loved them and got to know some of the guys pretty well...especially Ron. Then I moved to KGB and helped Jacobs and Liebert set up the station's switch from the "Bill Drake" format to the so-called "progressive rock" format until 1972 when I became (of all things) a lawyer!! Oh boy, those were the days!! [Coincidentally, later actually lived in Jamul from 1988 - 2005].
George Manning, groovy story! You shouldn't really regret getting out of DJ-ing in 72 cause the music started going down the drain about a year or two afterwards anyway, and the artists all started selling out to the corporate mongols.
Great!!!
great ....I'd never heard this band before even grew up in the 70' s now got lucky to hear before I die, thanks for uploaded.
Booyah! Just scored a minty SEALED orig. copy of this!
Kick ass album!
This is the best thing to pop up in my recommendations in years. So glad i found this 39 minutes of awesome !

This album is wonderful.
Anyone out there love rock music with a bluesy feel
Absolutely love the grooves on this one, found it for $1 at a local record store.
Rip John.......it's up down here man. You made it. You shook em.
had this album in the 70´s, but sold it... how i regret that now !!!
WOW what a week for music on u tube.all.over the place wheel of fortune the dart hits album #1,miss u tube 40+years later &wow were did that come from!!?? great fantastic music yes 😃😃😃👍👍👍
VERY GOOD..............................................................
Best version of Tobacco Road by far
Another great album from the time of great rock records. Some other American bands with one album release each that you may find interesting would be Valhalla from 1969 and Tin House 1971 and Third Power 1970. American band Sir Lord Baltimore (the first band to have their music described as "heavy metal") had two great albums in this same time period. Cheers.
This is the reason for youtube. I'd never heard of these guys back then, up till right now :-)
Hold the Line actually brought a tear to my eye
A truly superb, thoroughly fun listen - maybe the best stoner record I've ever had the pleasure to hear -
Magnificent band and album.
Pronounced: "HAW-Mool" I bought this LP when it came out. They're from South East San Diego County. A town called Jamul.
My wife and I take our Travel Trailer to Jamul. There is a Thousand Trails Campsite there.
Far Out

Back in the day a few hundred a day or two in studio & come out with a hell of a Album ..today u do it on your phone it still can be good but different ... & THAT IS Y 50 YEARS LATER THIS ALBUM STILL KICK ASS!!!👍👍👍😄😄😄
Badass ! I have a scratchy vinyl copy from the flea market- thanks for the nice clean sound. A treasure beyond measure !
This music is amazing. I love it

Upon the opening notes, I liked this music. I'd never heard of Jamul. File under: Crunchy R&B Rock.
Thank you for the upload.
Best 60s 70s band
What a ballsy blues sound love it !! Thanks
Thanks so much SABBATH for posting this BLOODY great music...keep it up! .....seriously this is bloody great!
Amazing..
loving this, i was too young 1st time round, whatta find so much better than what's on offer today.
Ahhhh... that hit the spot :) Thanks guys for letting the riff rip and thanks and good on you for sharing 🙏👍🙏
Nice sound; CCR with a hard rock edge!
Thank you for posting such a great song.
Os arquivos musicais do passado valem ouro, obrigado Bloody Sabbath(Thank you B. Sabbath, great channel, nice job).
SUPERB BAND AND SOUND 🎸🎸🤘🤘
Mental, nostalgic medicine
He has a voice bit like John fogerty so powerfull !!!
True!
I hear a hint of David Clayton Thomas
the father of rock and heavy Metal
That was the REAL music...
Grande album
phanthastic one - a pleasure to listen to
Wow!!
grandioso amigo ..gracias from uruguay!!!
Great!!!!! I LOVE the sounds of psychedellica in the morning!!!! There is absolutely NOTHING like the bands and the deep album cuts sounds of the late 60s and early 70s. It is such a shame that this type of music fell by the wayside because of crap and shit-sounds of disco, punk and new wave. Music never recovered. it just devolved and declined. The deaths of Hendrix and J. J. left such a void and eventually opened the door to a lesser style of music.
there is sum good stuff bein put down out there. I mean nuthin will ever be like the late '60's early '70's sound but I'm blown away from all the good stuff, jus sayin..
theres some dope stuff to check out in the neo psych realm though dont give up yet!
Nice album, Thanks.
Funky , grinding groove on track one👍♥️
Really Cool! Greetings from Brazil!
Saw them in Takoma Park MD, sometime in the early '70's.
Barry Richards was likely the MC. They appeared on his local TV show. The band was in a clip on YT, might be gone by now.
