Hi Peter, randomly came across this video and I wanted to tell ya that you have explained this program FAR better than any other video I have watched. (I’ve been watching a lot). Thank you for simplifying everything! Great work my friend
Thank you for sharing! Sure, but I think this plugin is very useful. There is no other way to make Halation and Bloom in Lightroom. Anyway the bloom feature can replace a mist filter too. It works kind a same, and you can toggle on and off. Only the Tiffen black pro mist filter is 155$ and you can get the same look with this.
@@petersroom I get that as a company, they can charge what they want. I have no issues with that. It’s a great application. I’ve tested it out and it seems to be very stable as well, unlike Film Converter which makes my M1 Mac crash ever so often while I’m tweaking the sliders. I’m simply making a casual observation that the average photographer/videographer would not hesitate to add the application to their toolkit if it were reasonably priced. To my understanding, if I wanted to use the Dehancer Film emulation on my videos on Final Cut, as well as a plug-in for Affinity Photo, as well as on my phone, I’d have to shell out $1000 plus taxes. The IOS app alone is $400. I’ve never seen a photo editing app In the App Store cost that much, unless I’m mistaking.
Thanks for the video ! Great explication)) I have a question… is it possible to comeback in the picture we just have worked on ? As you worked on a tiff format !?
Thanks! I really appreciate 😀 No, sadly if you edit once you cant go back from the tiff. That's why i recommend to create backup virtual copies from the last version of the RAW files. You can make multiple tiff files, if you're not satisfied with the results.
I made it in davinci resovle. You can pick Fusion title - Jitter and set the font Elephant - regular. Set the font color to #f1b528 and jitter edge color to #b11f14 . This is what i used in this video. I hope it helps. Have a nice day mate! 🙌
Sure! But its not flexible. It is what it is. I like digital pictures more, because it's really flexible. You can change a lot of things, achieve different looks. So if i like the film look without losing the flexibility of the digital pictures, than this is a good way in my opinion.

Thnk you for your great review Peter, your color grading results are always stunning 😍
Thank you! ☺️🫶
I hate how its so slow on my computer!
Great application but obscenely expensive for casual photographers out there.

I thought this would be a tutorial for Lightroom but instead it’s a commercial for dehancer app. Disappointing.
Congrats for 1k man....
Thanks man! It's incredible. 🥳🥳
