Hello Frank..another good video...just wanted to say thank you for inspiring me to airbrush lures.and wanted to say thank you for also helping me start K.O.B.B.(kranky ole bastard ) baits ..keep the great videos coming thanks Charley
Very Nice Crappie imitation, You Better Hang On when throw that one around, Really Enjoyed the video, it’s time for me to start painting again, Question? When You return painting, could you paint with some of those Eye Candy glitters ? And would you do some Topwater Poppers ?
Do you mind giving me some info on that lure blank? I'm just getting into painting my own and I am enjoying all of your videos. You're a great teacher.
I love your video tutorials. I was wondering what is the devise you are using to hold the lure and turn it for painting? Also where can someone get one? That would be super helpful to me. Thank you for sharing your videos.
You mentioned having a problem with your hands. As a retired CNC machinist who had similar problems from having my hands in coolant all day I found that the most effective lotion for me was the cheapest Walgrens store brand. If not for that stuff I was seriously considering changing careers. Also, you mentioned UVLS (?), what is that used for?
@@customlurepainter Thanks for the reply, wish you all the best on the dermatitis. Almost cost me my career. Tried a lot of things but that cheap walgreens did the job. My doctors reply was 'if the coolant is causing the problem then stay out of the coolant'. No paycheck in that. BTY, appreciate your videos, I'm just starting, with an emphasis on metal blade baits.
I watched your needle polishing vid, it does help, but, I think i stumbled onto something, after polishing, I put 303 graphene auto wax on needle, it almost completely stopped dry tip , try it, see what you think, I tried ceramic auto wax first, it worked but not as good as the graphene, I use createx acrylic paints, 303 is very hydrophobic, so it doesn't allow paint to stick

I do have acute dermatitis, not good. UVLS is a paint protector, not a final coat though, I use epoxy for final
