As a ghostrick player, and person with very high respect for your game knowledge and deck building skills, seeing you play my favorite deck in the world made me cry a little on the inside……

The ghostrick cards/archetype is adorable lol I love that it's based on Halloween and their aesthetic is too cute, it's a little unfortunate that they're really really not good enough to do much on their own. I guess there are ways to, very inconsistently, pull off the angel of mischief instant win, but that's squarely just a gimmick. Still fun to watch it get played nonetheless. I did saw d3 ghostrick playing sol and luna, definitely good enough just not in this fusion format, definitely can do better if this was Adamantia format.
The Most consistent (Pure?) Ghostrick deck. He finally played an actual Ghostrick Deck, with Accesscode as wincon. Also Festival Set 1 pass, wow such riveting Ghostrick gameplay. He only won due to the Burn Player burning himself tho the guy himself was based. No Timelord just pure Trap Burn.
I don't think that in the "problem with ghostricks" that logs keeps mentioning the problem are the ghostricks... I think Log Man is the problem of his own problem.
Ngl when you aren't using ghostricks as an engine, spectre becomes bad. I almost always fetch lantern or jackfrost off of jiangshi, as spectre simply does not do enough to warrant allowing your jiangshi to die.

Ghostrick's wincon is going +40 while stunting your opponent's plays before attacking directly for up to 8K. But people assume Ghostrick is unplayable and try too hard to fix them or just act like it is a bad meme deck.
@@flackenstien Yeah. Trying to take away as many ghostrick cards as possible only hurts the deck. People see others remove all the ghostrick cards and then think that is how it is done but then it doesn't work anymore and they all condemn the deck to bad meme tier. :(
But why would you play that, MrLogs??? You can't win CONSISTENTLY if you're Ghostrick cards!!!! The only way to play Ghostrick deck is never play Ghostricks at all!!!!

Everybody knows that the best way to play with Ghostricks is by tearing apart the cards and seeing how many pieces can you accurately shoot into a trash can.
Ghostricks aren't actually bad, but anyone that posts about them plays horribad builds, victimizing the archetype, and then victim shames them afterward.
@@flackenstien Not as bad as they claim to be at least but I have to say seeing stein in 2022 is always a major flag. He was playing without an actual plan, don't see why wouldn't he go for alucard with gilasaurus what would he do? ss turtle attack?
@@heulg.darian2536 The fact he had a Level 3 other than Jiangshi is a red flag. Rank 1 is the way to go for Ghostrick. You can't always detach from Alucard to get its material in the GY, but you often need to grab back a Lantern. Dullahan is also the biggest beatstick when going for a Festival OTK. People who have no idea how decks like Ghostrick and Subterror work will post about them and give them a bad rep. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here punching for 6K damage via Speleogeist after blocking my opponent's entire last turn.. or attacking right over unkillable monsters with a full board of Ghostricks for game after putting insane pressure via my endless supply of traps and revives.
The ghostrick accesscode is one hell of a boss monster

Festival pass is very the best
Should have used actual Ghostrick boss monsters like Ghostrick Dark Law or Eldlich the Mad Ghostrick Lord (via summoner of illusions).

You know, say what you want about the other guys deck, but this was one of THE duels that I've ever seen
Ghostricks are kinda neat. Wish the cards had more removal associated with their flip effects so you could lean in on more of a control strategy
Yeah, a Level 3 with a pop on flip would help the deck quite a bit. Or even better.. a Continuous Spell that pops a card if a Ghostrick is flipped.

@@flackenstien Alucard can play through imperm called by and droplet. And doesn't need 3 Gt to be 1800 atk.
