yesterday I played the subterror solo duels, read the continuous spell they give you x3 for free, and now my ghostrick deck is ghostrick beat down. I've had a 4900 atk ghostrick nekomusume.
If you lose due to a single card in the field you didnt blew up its your fault for not hitting it with any cards you had available and closing games. Obviously you dont need to use those cards if you arent even capable of going for Lethal or disruption on the next turn.
I play them every way imaginable. Whether it be as a combo or as a pure control deck. Dark event it was control, no boss monsters for combo Ghostricks. Fiend fairy event it was Burn Stall with the hand traps, last ranked season it was Ghostrick Dogmatika Shaddols + Bystials, this season it's nekomusume turbo or Ghostrick Runick, with a small Spright engine. As bad as Ghostricks are they are pretty fun to fuck around and build for. Edit : Yo that list looks really good I'll try it out. Ah also, try out Imperial wall with Lord of heavenly prison, it doesn't get banished at the end it makes everything else searched with lords not get banished and it provides additional protection. You can get protection from destruction, banish, targeting and with the Ghostrick fields from attacks as well. It also works well with Fairy cause the cards she searches would normally get banished. Though I understand that it doesn't work with the spiders.
I can't believe how you came back and won against this DM player when you were so minus for the longest time with one of the worst archetypes in the game.
By including all that S/T flip monster support [subterror S/Ts , Sol And Luna , Junk Sleep , World Legacy Pawns] ghostricks are always fun to play. top 2 favorite archetype of all time for me

I’ll never fully understand people using raigeki/lightning storm/feather duster on a single card.
