@@AlperAkcoltekin it’s a well known fact that JLP was a pretty difficult person to be around for an extended period. He was well known for making super expensive International calls to Mark Lanagan and Kid Congo Powers. Jeffrey also had very strange topics he liked to talk about according to Nick Cave. Basically if you were out with JLP. You were in JLPland. But by all accounts JLP was very well read and cultivated. However he had no luck with the women he became involved with.

At this time the Gun Club was "on hiatus" (he officially ended it). Romi played guitar on the tour (as the Jeffrey Lee Pierce Quartet) for Wildweed (she did not play on the album) and when the Gun Club came back for Mother Juno with Kid again on guitar she played bass.

Alcohol was his worst addiction but I met him near the end, he was sober but then started back on the H. Which probably contributed to his aneurysm/brain haemorrhage. He was svelte in the last couple years...
Jeffrey Lee Pierce was a genius criminally underrated
Jeffrey my beloved artist in my teens and still now at almost 60's
I love the vibrato.. So many emotions in his voice
I'm in love with this band. Excellent footage. I Also have exclusive videos of Gun Club in case anyone wants to see it.
Love your channel man, you have the only version of Gun Club "My Dreams" live in HQ available in UA-cam. Also dig your edits and videos of Gun Club.

Truly amazing. These people had no idea what they were seeing. I would have lost my damn mind if I was there.
The most "pop" I've ever seen of JLP! Excellent. Sad that he's gone.✌
