Watching this again with you guys , it occurs to me that Wade was still alive in there when the house burned down....omg. Imagine being trapped in wax, in pain and the building burning and falling down around you. Horriffic!
no I think he died when vincent sliced his cheek, or atleast he soon bled out from his injuries. when carly discovers wade he doesn't rattle around or muffle scream for help or anything. also when vince slices his cheeks wades eyes role up into his head like he died
I think he probably suffocated to, since he wouldnt have been able to move to breathe or also overheated since his skin couldnt sweat or breathe. i think thats a thing too
One of my favorites. One thing I always found fascinating about the twin brothers is Bo was the one being strapped down to the high chair not Vincent. Even though you first think it would be Vincent since he is the spooky one wearing the mask.
5:15 yes lol Jared is a giant. The directors actually had Elisha Cuthbert stand on blocks while they filmed with each other. I remember LIVINGGG for the behind the scenes featurette on the dvd when i was a kid haha
The character of elisha (carly) who is the protagonist, she was also super recognized at that time, she was for years on the list of the most beautiful and sexiest in the industry, besides that she became well recognized for her role in the movie "the girl next door". That movie has an excellent cast.
34:38 speaking of sergi .. they had a mtv making of: on this im sure you can find it somewhere on UA-cam .. they run down this scene with Elisha up the stairs and Paris’ death scene it’s so coool
I love this content. As a horror fan, it's so amazing to see people analyze and enjoy horror as much as I do. Keep up the good work and I'll keep watching!!! Subscribed!!!
If I remember correctly: in ye olden days candles were made out of pig fat, lye soap, and essential oils (lavender, rose, lemon, etc)...to help with the smell. Wicks would be rolled in salt/ash and then dipped in the boiling mix in layers to create the candles. No part of the carcass would go to waste. Alot of candles today are made out of soy.
23:55 fun fact as a kid .. I watched this with my big cousin and she was a few months pregnant with her daughter at the time and this scene with wades faces had her & that baby fucked up 😂🤣😂🤣 she couldn’t handle it .. poor thing I had to turn the movie off .. she had asked me if the gore level was heavy and I had completely forgot about that part lol 😂
did anyone else notice how upset carly was when they found dalton dead compared to how little she was upset when they found wade, so maybe carly actually liked dalton and was planning on breaking up with wade 🧐
I think I remember the film makers talking about how they had to use peanut butter for when the house was melting at the ending scene. Real wax melts a lot faster and would’ve been harder to film because of it. I can’t even imagine being covered in peanut butter and the smell!!! I love PB but not THAT much
Thanks for doing this movie, I've never actually seen a reaction video for it and it's one of my favorite so bad it's good movies, and also this is the first video I've watched on your channel but seeing the thumbnail is what got my attention, great job!
from what i know with arrows now not sure if it applied to those types but it has to be pulled out the same way it went in like all the way through because if u do it backwards u get splinters. what he should have done was break off the end and pulled it out if possible
One of my favorite things about this film, beside the kills and just the concept redone, was the fact that there was a twins parallel that ran through out the entire movie, sure its sorta dumb but sort of in a good way.
I remember when I saw this in the theater, I audibly laughed when Paris got impaled. Which made the people in my immediate surroundings giggle. It was funnyyyyy!
the only thing that gets me is that there was no way they would have gotten out of that place without some heavy burns. it was all made of wax, that was melting continuously which at a minimum should get them some mild case of full body wax cover at the end, which to think about it, wax smoke plus general fire smoke probably would have done a lot more damage but I digress.
I LOVE you two! So glad I came across your channel 🥰 super excited for what’s to come! Also the MCR imitation at the end was spot on and unleashed my inner emo 😂
I love this movie, like I of my favs, and so little people watch this/react to this... Ahh I think it is very interesting story and idea 😁 and I love actors here. I actually also went to watch this movie and I was 16 hehe, but I go bc of Elisha Cuthbert I loved here at that time 😁
It's always been highly rumored that Paris Hilton and Chad Micheal Murry where getting very close on set, so much so that its alleged Paris was the one that ended Chad and Sophia Busch marriage. I remeber the marketing for the movie. I still have my T-shirt from kitson. I'm sure this was Paris's idea, Kitson and Paris Hilton in the early 2000s just went hand in hand.
While i didnt like all Paris all phenomenon, i kinda wish they had switch with Elish and be the last girl. Carly was supposed not be that stupid, and she was. I didnt enjoy her character and i dont know if it was Elish performance or Carly as a character... i just didnt connect with her. At least with Paris character, she was more entertaining...
The biggest problem I have with this movie is that Michael Myers wasn't in it enough. I don't want to see someone else who is not Michael Myers killing people. I also think the end fight scene was too short. I didn't hate the movie, but it could have been a lot better in my opinion.
i think this movie is so campy, the story, the characters, the cgi and the practical effects combining to create the craziest sfx in a movie, its just EVERYTHING
Thank you so much! Always appreciate your support 🧡 Let us know what other horror movies you want us to react to - Cody has not seen the SAW franchise and he’s dreading it but we may react to those 😂
Jared's character wouldn't have known because Bo purposefully put himself between the truck and Wade it also took him a while to come back out because he was getting out of his suit.
This one of my favorite guilty pleasure movies! That paris hilton death is so amazing to me idk why. Love love y’alls reaction! Definitely gotta subscribe!
Fun fact, my mother let me watch this movie when it came out (I would have been 3 or 4 depending on what month it came out) and it scared me so bad that i legitimately thought for a very long time that the opening scene was something that actually happened to me and my sister. I randomly watched it when I was like 18 or 19, and I was like 😟 “okay well it’s good to know that my nightmares weren’t from real trauma that happened to me and from a literal movie lmfao”
fun fact the girl that is with jared had to have wooden blocks taped to the bottom of her shoes to sort of reach jared`s height but she was still short
I love Paris Hilton and she has some of the best fragrances ever been wearing her perfume and oil since I was a little tot !! She’s the Queen Always !!!!! 🥰💕
the scene where the killer slices the finger had me shook as a kid 😖

I remember all the stuff they used to look like superglue were bad and Elisha eventually said screw it use superglue
Damnnnn oh no, not the real superglue!
While majority of viewers had a crush on Chad Michael Murray, I actually had a crush on Brian Van Holt. Even if he was a psycho. Lol
I totally forgot about this movie! This also explains why Paris Hilton was randomly in an episode of Supernatural probably around this time lol
Istg Paris was everywhere 😭 she was in the OC, House of Wax, Veronica Mars, and Supernatural. My girl was booked and busy
I'm new to this channel but one of my favorite things so far is how much Sergio gets into music.
We Need To Have You Guys Reacting To Some Wrong Turn I Would Definitely Love To See Cody’s Reaction To The Gore😂😂
Omg, Love this idea! 😂

PARIS HILTON NEEDS TO BE A FINAL GIRL!!!
1000%

i remember watching it when younger, i loved it but my favorites were House On Haunted Hill and Thirteen Ghosts
I totally simped over Jared every time he was on screen 😻 even tho as a huge Supernatural fan I’m more of Jensen fan haha
You guys are so good! Looking forward to the Chucky reactions 😄
House of Wax is something I remember don't seeing and Paris Hilton was fun anyway lol
Let her get the D indeed lol 😆

I always loved the movie. I remember the reality show they had on MTV with the cast. Chad Michael Murray was suchhh a little diva. lol.
They made the wax look real by using peanut butter. One of the directors and the cast said it took a very long time to get it all off them lol
the ending that was not CGI that was real
This movie has such a top tier soundtrack
from what i know with arrows now not sure if it applied to those types but it has to be pulled out the same way it went in like all the way through because if u do it backwards u get splinters. what he should have done was break off the end and pulled it out if possible

I did wanted to re-watching this movie, soo thank you soo much!!!
I remember when I saw this in the theater, I audibly laughed when Paris got impaled. Which made the people in my immediate surroundings giggle. It was funnyyyyy!
another fun fact they used actual glue to glue her lips together for that part which was crazy

One of my favorite horror movies, aside from The Last House On The Left, and Hitcher. :)
Hitcher was messed up but good
All 3 of them were...
Your editing is on point! Especially during the banter. 🤣
Thank you! We truly appreciate hearing that 😄
The "real" wax during the final fight scene wasnt actual wax it was peanut butter.
So weird to find out this was really a remake of Tourist Trap that was barely rewritten be called House of Wax
I'm 6'3" and a half. I hate being so tall...

Another good technically horror but also my favorite cult movie with Paris Hilton is Repo! The Genetic Opera
If you want actual iconic Paris Hilton horror then Repo the Genetic Opera is next.
What's that sound effect at 5:01? It sounds like it's from RuPaul's Drag Race.
"He don't know you either ok" haha

Ok, that's it - you brought up drag and opened the door for me... It would be awesome if you guys would do reaction vids to drag race.
Paris❤
I'm pretty sure that the mask would be a very better title for this movie 😂
aw man didn't include vincents fave reveal scene
This movie is very good
I had totally forgotten about this move. Loved this movie too when I was younger. Paris's death was iconic 🙌 loved your reaction 👌
anyone know the song Blakes rapping in the car when hes messing with the gps?

this is a pretty 'corny' movie but as a horror its very effective.

Fun fact: Vincent is named after Vincent Price from the original Housemof Wax movie.
I love the guys shielding her while she's changing her shirt. So gentlemanly lol
Sergio giving us 2005 nu-metal/emo realness at the end. This movie is awesome.
pariss death was iconic. i saw this in theatres and the crowd went wild

Jared and Jensen! 🥰
Did I see a Dirt Squirrel shout-out there?
I saw this in theaters and a bunch of people had the "see Paris Hilton die" shirts
The music in this movie ESPECIALLY during the deaths are freaking awesome
The Paris Hilton kill is the only thing I remember about this movie.
I love Paris Hilton and she has some of the best fragrances ever been wearing her perfume and oil since I was a little tot !! She’s the Queen Always !!!!! 🥰💕
Best chase scene is Wendy in the original Prom Night.
Where is the rest of the scream queens reaction please ?
Elisha Cuthbert was a bigger draw for fans of "24" because a lot of us hated her character and hoped to see a good death in this movie.
