Most old school nursery rhymes are very dark because they are trying to warn the children away from bad things so most of them were very very dark. Ring Around the Rosie is about the plague.😁
I watched this movie when it first came out, and it scared the bejuzus out of me. Then I rarely heard about it for so long. I’m so happy to see it finally get the credit it deserves!
Its been on my watchlist for so long. No clue why I didnt see it back when it came out. I wish I did I best this was so effective on the big screen. Definitely scared us now 😂
Jill Harris, who played Deborah Logan, lkke Toni Collette, from Hereditary Literally the best performances i have seen in years. I wish awards for acting went to horror more. It takes a special kind of terror to do what these women have done.
Yeah, so underrated. There's so much versatility an actor can bring when they just embrace a truly horrifying concept and run with it that's lost on pompous movie critics and award judges.
Love this movie. I volunteer in a dementia care facility. It really captured the horror of what happens to people and those that love them, as well as treating them with dignity. It was grounded before it rockets into the supernatural horror. Have you ever watched "The Possession of Michael King"?
I work at a nursing home that deals with dementia patients. They do act like Deborah especially in the evenings (we call it sundowning). They get really aggressive and can bite and punch you if they get overwhelmed. Them surrounding her doesn't help and her daughter all in her face doesn't either. The elderly also have very thin and sensitive skin so her scratching her skin off is possible (have seen it a few times so we have to give them thick sleeves on their arms and legs during the day). Scariest part is they also see people in their rooms and will call for them. Dementia and Alzheimer's is a sad way to go as the things you do isn't you anymore but there are times they come back and they're the sweetest people. Wish there was a way to stop it or to prevent it.
I'm so glad you reacted to this movie, both of your reactions to it were great! This was such a fun watch, and the movie itself is a good example of a well done found footage movie!
Truly liked this one too and so did Cody who isn’t even into many found footage movies! It definitely surprised us in more ways than one!lol Thanks so much for watching, we appreciate it!😊
Took me ages to watch this film too. It's a bit of a sleeper and slipped under the radar for a while. I see more and more people mentioning it these days though. It certainly doesn't disappoint! Also, my Dad died from dementia in 2019, and so this movie was quite uncomfortable for me to watch - but I have to say that the actress who plays Deborah portrays her condition very well. My dad did some weird things during the years of his illness - seeing people who weren't there, extremely altered reality that he was convinced was real, saying people had said and done things...sometimes referencing people who had been dead for years as if they were right there... Dementia in all it's forms is a wicked and horrible condition, and sometimes extremely disconcerting, especially when you haven't experienced it before and don't know what to expect. My dad eventually had to be cared for in a nursing home, and his floor was full of other dementia patients in similar stages to him, and sometimes I found it hard to deal with - the noises, shouting, people talking at nothing etc. Maybe that's why this film hits extra hard for me. Regardless, it is a very effective movie and a really good pick for this channel. Awesome job, guys!
Yesss! Deborah did not come to play!! 😂 This movie gave us so much stress but in a good way haha Such a creepy movie and PERFECT suggestion! We love and appreciate you as always! ❤️❤️
If you haven't seen it yet, Hell House LLC is a really strong found footage film. Creeped me the hell out and I haven't been creeped by a film in yeeeeears
Dude I just finished watching this! I’m still in the fucked up stage 😵 I don’t wanna go to bed. Sarah is so fucking badass!!! I love her sooo much and I was really hoping nothing was gonna happen to her.
I actually did a review of this when it came out. Adam Robitel actually personally responded to my review and he was a very cool guy. This movie scarred me and scared me. Great reaction, I always love them!
This movie is insane! I can't watch it strait through, but I can watch y'all watch it. it's so creepy and Im loving this "uncomfortably enjoyable" watch with y'all.
thank you so much for reacting to this film! it's a go-to found footage scare for me and it's genuinely complex in the dealings with this brain disease.
i just discovered your channel and woah i love you already....soo fun to watch and you make horror movies fun to watch with your funny commentaries...keep it up guys....
Love this movie, so good. Love your reactions! If you like this, you might like Lake Mungo, it’s a slow burn done in a documentary style with multiple twists and a chilling atmosphere. I haven’t seen anything done like it.
Big Deborah oh lord i just came from zzavid's video and you guys, we're so brave to watch big Deborah because i would've peed all thru if i seen this movie all the way.
I kept seeing a gif for this movie on X , then came across your old reaction to this film. I have never seen it before but it kinda reminded me of The Blair Witch Project vibes. I will have to actually watch this with Jacob now!! Love y'all and your reactions, as always. Ur humor, editing and added clips are ALWAYS so on point! 💅💯 Stay awesome guys! 💖
I want to recommend As Above So Below if you haven’t seen it! One of my favorite found footage movies. I just found your channel and I’m loving it! 🖤🧡👻
One of my favorites in my collection, reminds me and I highly recommend "The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh" such a rare underrated horror gem!
another excellent possession film is the possession of michael king ! it ranks right up there with this film and the original exorcist , and exorcist III !
Loved this movie. One of the better horror trips of the last decade. The scene where she is tearing her skin off still creeps me out, and the scene where she is eating the child is an instant classic.
You guys should definitely check out 7 Nights of Darkness. I’m still scared of this movie. I made the mistake of watching it before I went to the bus stop for school one time. And, it was dark. So, yeah. Definitely check it.
@@thehorrorbandwagon definitely scared the crap out of me. To this day after I watch I can not be in the dark because there’s just something about it that creeps me tf out. But, I really like it. And, hope you guys will too. I mean I know everyone’s horror taste is different but I hope y’all like it.
Your editing is amazing! So hilarious. None of my business, but I'm assuming you're an editor in real life. Much appreciated. I didn't know what to expect from this movie. Better than I imagined.
We felt the same! I thought it was just going to be jumpscares but it genuinely creeped me out! Also thanks so much about the editing truly means a lot! Not a professional editor but do enjoy doing it. The more fun the better! Lol Thank you for watching as always 😄
Amber Alert is a fantastic found footage horror movie. It seems so real. I've used it to traumatize friends. Also, when The Taking of Deborah Logan came out, I was afraid of horror movies. When on streaming platforms, I could just skip over the horror sections and not look at the covers. But my name is Deborah, so my eye was always drawn to the cover/title and it was impossible to ignore her creepy face. Messed me up for a whole. Then I watched it. Messed me up for a while longer.
This is one of my favorite movies like ever. Idk if you guys know this or not but apparently Sarah was supposed to be the guys 4th victim but deb knew somehow and killed him with the spade. I’m pretty sure that’s why he possessed her, and she took the little girl so she could be the last victim.
I would love to heat your thoughts or see you two react to the Hell House trilogy! Terror Films is finally releasing a 4th movie about the history of the Abbadon Hotel. I'd love to see you guys cover it when it comes out.
hello! i recently discovered you guys through your gonjiam: haunted asylum episode a scene here from taking of deborah reminded me a little bit of The Visit (2015). have you guys seen it? (EDIT: LOL literally a few seconds after i typed this, you mentioned it in the bedroom scene 🤣 did you guys enjoy that one?) i also watched your incantation reaction and wondered if you’ve seen The Ritual (2017)? PS you two are the absolute cutest and funniest!
Something I wanted to point out is she probably didn’t actually have to pull her skin very hard for it to rip or break. When I worked with dementia patients in a nursing home, one thing I learned was that the elderly have extremely fragile skin. They bruise extremely extremely easily, and they could so much as hit their arm wrong on a corner and would need to go get stitches. So realistically I believe she used the correct amount of strength shown in the movie when it came to tearing her skin. It would most likely be very easy, I wouldn’t know about this exact situation bc obviously I never experienced someone ripping their skin off, but yeah
so the little girl got cured of cancer or did that little girls soul got taken and since they burned the body his soul went into the healed gurl................omg
You love found Footage movies?😈😉... my Favorite are the St. Francisville Experiment 😳😱🤩🥰 and that are also are true Backstory over a Cottonfarm, Haunting Things abd Slave Offer 😱
Yeah, this kind of movie is boring to me. The only thing I like about it is the actress that played Deborah used to play Opal on All My Children. I know the daughter from somewhere but I can’t remember. Next.
This movie was fucking INTENSE!!!!!!!😳😩 I am a horror movie lover indeed, but I never thought I would see a woman engulfing a child's head like a snake! 😨🫢🤢 That is gonna stay with me FOR SURE!!!!!!!😓
13:40 you cant peel your skin like that. I have pretty bad atopic dermatitis. I scratch really fucking hard and my grip strength of 80 kg. Like I scratch super hard and I bleed quite often but you cant peel your skin like that by scratching.
Cody's sense of humor is underrated 😭 "We had to pick our jaws up off the floor, she had to as well." I'm GAWN!!!
The actress who played Deborah was amazing.
She was on the soap All My Children for years
Most old school nursery rhymes are very dark because they are trying to warn the children away from bad things so most of them were very very dark. Ring Around the Rosie is about the plague.😁
Yes, although it's roses. I know in America they say Rosie but that is wrong lol
I watched this movie when it first came out, and it scared the bejuzus out of me. Then I rarely heard about it for so long. I’m so happy to see it finally get the credit it deserves!

That one is really good. That actually scared the hell outta me
I always felt like this movie wasn't very good at treating Deborah with dignity, like they make fun of her a lot and they're always arguing with her

Yesss! Deborah did not come to play!! 😂 This movie gave us so much stress but in a good way haha Such a creepy movie and PERFECT suggestion! We love and appreciate you as always! ❤️❤️
Hahaha, your reactions to that head-swallowing scene (and the final creepy shot) didn't disappoint! :)
😂😂😂 The image is still stuck in our heads!! Thank you for watching!
I literally screamed "Dafuq?!?!?. Kill it" 😱
If you haven't seen it yet, Hell House LLC is a really strong found footage film. Creeped me the hell out and I haven't been creeped by a film in yeeeeears

I am obsessed with the edits you guys added OMG 😆!! definitely helped with how creepy this movie is! So glad you guys reacted to this.
This movie is insane! I can't watch it strait through, but I can watch y'all watch it. it's so creepy and Im loving this "uncomfortably enjoyable" watch with y'all.
That’s a perfect description. It’s like such an uncomfortably enjoyable watch haha 😂 Thanks so much as always for watching! ❤️
thank you so much for reacting to this film! it's a go-to found footage scare for me and it's genuinely complex in the dealings with this brain disease.
Any time I see someone asking for scary movie suggestions this is my go to. I watched it by chance and was SHOOK. Such a good one
i finally realized where i know the daughter from. she was in A League of Their Own. Anne Ramsay. She played Helen Haley.
She was also on a comedy tv show called Mad About You
YES. Ive been waiting for this! 👏😖
Yesss! You were not lying about miss big Deborah but loved every stressful moment this gave us 😂😂
I swear to god Gavin is one of the smartest characters in any horror movies.

Thank you so much for watching even though we were disturbed as hell! ❤️😂
Big Deborah oh lord i just came from zzavid's video and you guys, we're so brave to watch big Deborah because i would've peed all thru if i seen this movie all the way.
Actress that played Deborah really sold it and made the movie

I need pretty hard drinks, now.
Ms. Desjardin is a character from Carrie! Could be where they got the name
24:08 One of the smartest guys we ever had in a horror movie 😂
Best part was when he said “at this point, shoot the mom”. Most sense
You guys always figure out the movie before it's over.. lol

When I watch found footage horror movies the whole time I’m saying to myself “ it’s not real it’s not real it’s not real”😭😭🧍🏻♀️
