Best Otzi Spark grill review on the internet. It shows how large the fire box and cooking area are and the thickness of the grill plates which are what I wanted to know b4 ordering it. Thank you!
Great grill, used once. No dice on keeping the coals lit, no matter how much charcoal you put in. Research and development; need a way for these coals to breath. Holes in plates, but that might affect the warping if you do decide to go that route.I feel like I’m trying to blow up an inflatable pool float trying to keep the coals going. Blowing through a straw is not in option, the grill should just work, and vent accordingly. I usually wait for charcoal to ash over, before grilling. The flames coming off the coals in some of these video’s look like they just lit the coals. Cooked chicken breast sliced the size of a spicy mcchicken from McDonald’s took me about an hour, hotdogs 40 mins. The spark is definitely small, upgrade to larger size if you plan on purchasing this. More novelty, can’t see myself using this daily if you were OTR truck driver. Larger grill might work better than the solo. Need some REAL comments, if you have a larger grill, are you having the same issues? UA-cam videos on this grill, read the comments, go from there. Do your research, read pro’s and cons, and possibly wait for a new model. Purchased this grill and the firebox. Still testing both of these grills out. Epic fail on first try with the solo, had to keep adding more charcoal to the grill for it to just fizzle out. Remove food, add more charcoal that is soaked in fuel, and add your food back to the grill, waiting game for my food to finish cooking. Don’t want my food tasting like lighter fluid. Got tips on using this grill, please comment.
I like using wood on this grill I bought the carbon steel one. After first burn it etched the steel a lot Charcoal will work if you don’t mind waiting for it to cook the food. Thanks for watching
I added 5 holes in each front and back side, got the carbon steel, have used it about 10 times works better and no warping but I did season it with low heat before using for real cooking, made a steak, burgers, sausage, bacon, chicken. So far so good. Hope this helps.
Nice video for a nice product, thanks. Is it me or is the only reason there's a left and right is so the logo and name look correct? It would still work if you switched them but "Otzi" and the logo would be mirror images.
And the first thing you do is handle it without gloves, lol. Just looking at the thickness of steel, it looks pretty beefy. Can't wait to see this little thing action.
skillet has no border or grove though, so I'd think the egg would just run off edge. Could use a notched support bar to secure the higher grill height setting. Other than that, seems pretty cool.
Great review on the grill, I do a lot of fishing here in the UK and use 1kg bags of quick light coals and wondered if this 1kg bag would fit in the grill ok? cheers
Hello Tim, 9 months ago you did a video on your RV and where you hid the keys. Look back at that video and a person named Mar sent me a message that the keys is now under the LP tank? It motley be nothing? But i just wanted to let you know? I've never gotten anything like this before! Ray from Spring Hill, Florida

Throw a pair of vice grips in the bag. Might be handy. Nice little grill. Thank you for showing it to us, Tim. Stay safe and stay warm
Good looking stove. It'll make a nice addition to the Basecamp. Thanks for the review.
I need that in my life lol
Thanks for sharing
Awesome, going to order mine on Tuesday. Thanks for the video.
That is a nice looking grill and stows away conveniently, Tim!🔥🇺🇸💪🏻
Great review! Thank you. But out of curiosity what's up with your finger nails? What kind of work do you do?
I’m a plumber

Reminds me of the concept of the hibachi grill we had growing up
I really like this little grill Tim. The price seems really reasonable too. Great Review

Cool little grill, kinda similar to Fabkreations 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 thanks Tim
Thanks.... I just ordered one.

Why didn't they make it out of titanium? that would have been nice...

Thanks Ray for telling me that fortunately I moved those keys from that location right after I shot that video lol. Take care
Is it made in China?
the idea is good but the size not so. It needs to be bigger.
Use the skewer to remove the grill by putting it in .... the " O" in "HOT"!
That's genius & I'd be willing to bet not many (if any) others noticed that! Thanks
I wish they shipped to the UK ...or someone over here with a CNC machine Could 'borrow' the idea
I think Fennek grill is the better option
How much $
$60
I couldn't get past the fingernails
Am I the only one bothered by his finger nails??
Looks like they were chewed off and did and oil change before this video lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
