A few errors on my part. Some info outdated. Interesting video. I agree you could have studied this topic. This coming from someone with a GMRS and Amateur radio license But like I said interesting video.
Thanks. Especially with these sort of Internet outages going and cell companies having issues with their towers, this level of communicate skill will be a benefit.
Always on piont .from your 1970 Philly Brother. Keep em coming. With m this Madness going on with these Plane accidents it's a good idea 💡 to have another means of Commcation
Not a Fed…. They’re all locked up and awaiting tribunals for violating rights and protecting a senile “Sniffer in Chief” and his Crackhead Pederast son Hunter. Thankfully Trump is BACK! 🫡😉
Haven’t moved up to Ham yet but do have FRS and GMRS. One thing I didn’t hear you mention, FCC license for GMRS covers all family members. Great info as always!
nobody owns any channels on the gmrs band. so your friend cant tell someone to get off a gmrs channel because he is using it, you just switch to a different channel. gmrs and frs share the same channels. no gmrs user owns a frequency.
Over time I've acquired 8 HAM radios and 1 CB. I am still trying to figure out the CB but the HAMs are extremely useful for even everyday rural living.
I've got a tub of electronics, antenna etc. hopefully I'll get my base station up and running and go thru my mobile units too. Then I'll start swapping out the bad and the ugly for the good 😁👍
@@TheUrbanSentinelChannel Ahh priorities I see base station would take presidency in that case. I have extra antennas I would just give you one if we where neighbors.
Sad ham will also complain and turn you in. Legal to us in a emergency situation but yeah in the last 10 years like 2 people got busted but they where pumping out some serious wattages.

Thanks for the video. Wife and I just dusted off our tech license and picked up a pair of Baofeng AR-5RM. Can't beat the price.
Good pitch. Simple to understand. Relevant for the urban denizen.

You know it Brother. Just when you think this will level out, it goes up another notch.
A "SECRET HACK" ...... What was the secret and what was the hack?
@@hamradiofrequencies 😏 it was not about utilizing equipment for pirate radio or creating an off grid network of guerilla ops. You type like a Fed 🤔

I used to love using my Grandfather's CB as a kid. Channel 19 used to have all the truckers on it.
I bet most young people have no idea where that movie quote comes from!! One of my favorite movies!!!
Presidential quote...
I do my best to mix in a little culture here and there 😁
😜👌 Always great advice for inexpensive, & sometimes lifesaving resources 💒⚔️ Thanks Brother ✌️ God Bless us All 🇺🇸🙏✝️
That antenna on your BFeng needs to go directly into the trash. You need a signal stick or 776 on that sucker.

Thank you very much 😎👍

The cheap 888s are very common in Ukraine, using them for block to block coms they work just fine.
Good bit of misinformation here all the way through. Check regulations instead of relying on this.
Gmrs frequencies are not assigned to anybody.
The cost increased in less than 2 weeks😬 www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0CQ4C8M37?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
