I grew up from other country and seen many many teams play around the world. Basketball been my sport for years. Spurs is the only Team that I have ever known that can only be seen as TRUE team, and TRUE brothers at the same time. With their plays, mentality, attitude; they play it with respect with each other and to the opposite team. They have trust to each other. They make everyone known in each game they play, its not an individualism. They enjoy sharing the ball and make a beautiful rhythm. People need to realize that basketball is not how an individual in a team can make a team play beautifully, its a sport that everybody in a team contributes to make a game beautifully.
Spurs are my favorite you never hear about dudes doin crazy shit that play for them and they all work as a team. I’ve also noticed that sometimes their bench can hang with a lot of starting lineups
This is such a perfect litmus test for what kind of basketball fan the viewer is. Do they appreciate unselfish, efficient, team basketball with rapid ball movement, or do they only appreciate individualistic ball where one or two players dominates?
Barcelona adopted "tiki-taka" and use it regularly on Guardiola era aka 2008 meanwhile the Spurs played like this since Pop was appointed as the coach,so i think its wiser to say Barcelona is the San antonio Spurs of football
