Visually yes, but the director had to put a lot of effort into explaining why Mihwak should look like he wasn't seriously fighting. The actor didn't feel it in the character itself by taking on role.

While Mihawk was badass, like REALLY badass, and he was nailed great, I want to appreciate the fact that they didn't waste much time with Krieg (because, let us be real, he had a badass design and great fighting style, but... that is literally it) and brought Aalong for the plot designed for Krieg, but they still brought him in just to give Mihawk a badass entrance. They could've put in some throwaway pirates, but they brought Krieg in. Nice.

Here I am being the only normal OP fan enjoying this live action show after forcing myself to reading the manga and watching the anime at the same time and yet those elitists that give the anime/manga a bad name still run rampant in the comments complaining about this?? Making a 1/2 season cancellation show (especially cliff hanger) basically makes the series dead weight for the service. Pretty much every show they do (minus proper limited series like Queen's Gambit) should be given proper endings, lately I haven't been bothering with a lot of season 1 shows because of this but with 1 piece, looking at reviews, I couldn't wait until season 2 ;)
Heres a small detail I imagine will be complicated to deal with... Busoshoku haki tends to be represented by darkened skin, but doing so in live action could be taken a somewhat different way... it'll be interesting to see how they tackle this given we are moving through the plot so quickly.

One piece is all about hope and dream after all. The fights are only a spectacles
He's trying to avoid Mihawk knowing that Luffy is his (Garp's) grandson. Of course, Mihawk already knows that because he knows about Luffy through Shanks telling him.
He killed more people on screen in this short time than every other character combined.............and did so by a LOT! The fact that even this short Krieg bit was brilliantly casted is crazy.

Best way to include kinda filler villains. Put them up against the heavy hitters to show they're unique, but don't entertain them and just move on.
Just started watching the anime and I love how there's so many episodes of dealing with Krieg but in this clip he's dealt with in 20 seconds.

Haki is supposed to be invisible, I think the darkened skin is more an indication of when someone is using it than anything else.
