They are completely irrelevant to her lies, and behavior. Handmade's Tale was a brilliant comparison. Her speech aged beautifully. Still all too relevant.

Michelle Wolf is a comic genius. Her timing, her material, her delivery, are all awesome.
How is her material any more offensive than previous comics at previous dinners? It isn't. Her jokes just fell on snowflakes who like to be horrible to other people and call them snowflakes.

Probably her weakest joke of the night. If it were funnier the reception would have been more positive - you can get away with anything if it’s funny. Just like Men are creepy….unless they’re tall and good-looking.

In today's world we are sold all kinds of lies by our media and governments. The only ones allowed to tell the truth are comedians because they can say "just kidding" afterwards. Michelle Wolf told some deep truths in this bit and did burn it all down. It was one of the best comedy speeches I have ever witnessed. She's a f*cking legend!!!

The questions about pregnancy and having kids sound so inappropriate that I’m shocked to hear a female interviewer asking them.
While I appreciate that she was given the chance to explain her jokes I am upset by the detail she had to go into and the amount of times she had to say variations of, "Well, if you listened to the joke it's obvious that I was not saying what I am being accused of saying..."
I don't admire Terry Gross's interview style. She steps on her interviewees lines, she's tone deaf when listening, seems to be self-promoting over the interview topic. I think this could have been a much more meaningful interview with a different interviewer. I admire Michelle Wolf though.

Nonetheless, when you hammered at Ms. Wolf about Sarah Huckabee, it seemed that you were _getting at a lie_. I am extremely disappointed. Ms. Wolf, you expertly parried her attempts at a lie! I rather cannot think of many others who would have done as well as you did, Ms. Wolf.

5 years on (2023) and BRAVO for making those fascists squirm and feel uncomfortable, Michelle. Most of them deserve to be in jail for what they did to our country. Here's to seeing that that becomes a reality in the next 5 years... it sure looks like their cult leader is headed in that direction (on top of having his businesses and money taken from him). The media also needs to be reformed, they were the ones who helped Trump get elected and they STILL don't act like journalists - they cozy up to power instead of exposing it.

Michelle Wolf is my favorite comic. I am a big fan of Fresh Air also and she dealt with this interview better than anyone I could imagine and her point of people projecting their preconceptions on her jokes couldn’t have been more honest or cutting toward her attackers.

Michelle Wolf is one of the most important comics out there. I feel like she's a spiritual descendant of George Carlin. Her WHCD speech was perfect. People who were offended by her SHS joke thought "smokey eye" was some kind of slur or insult rather than a makeup term. I mean, I'm a guy who knows nothing about makeup, but even I knew she was talking about makeup and not commenting on SHS' physical appearance.
Michelle Wolf's White House Correspondents' Dinner speech was TOP NOTCH. And she was a *beast!* One of the top 3 Correspondents' Dinner speakers of all time! (And that's a high bar when you consider some of the previous ones!) The people who were upset with her _brilliant_ speech are small minded snowflakes who are pathetic guilty hacks. Michelle Wolf has excellent timing. She is also very funny, but few comics today have her timing. I'm surprised by the interviewer. Just the way she asked the questions made it sound like Michelle Wolf should be apologizing for her comedy. Like Micelle said if you didn't like her comedy, you should've picked someone else. Her new special on Netflix's is really good.
