My great grandfather was in the Army Air Corps before WWII. I've been told he crashed a plane during a training flight in Hawaii. Apparently, he was drunk, too. Being a pilot back in the day must've either been stressful as hell or a non-stop party.
it's amazing how nature just takes things back when they are abandoned . Especially the ocean.

P-47 weighed 9 tons fully loaded so it’s no surprise it’s in relatively decent shape. American aircraft were know for 2 things- being able to dive live bricks and take more hits than popeye. The Jug was incredibly tough.

I lived on the Lanikai beach in 1969. There was no visible wreck at that time. There were rumors of a P40 wreck somewhere near one of the Mokoluas, but it was totally submerged.

Air Force was established September 18, 1947. So had to be after that for the exact date in 1947. Prior to that it was Army Air Corps. Retired Air Force here 1998-2018. Great videos!

I've seen your short videos all of it, and I'm happy what you guys doing for the environment such as cleaned the sea sands from trash and all of it, and some of it you guys making circle bubbles that's quite entertained but I never really saw a video that all you guys taking picture under the sea, I mean like a family picture, altogether in lines. What plane?
When you go back can you get a better shot of the side because at 7:14 there looks like a red circle on the side of the plane next to the cockpit. If it is a red circle than the plane is Japanese. There is also a small chance that the circle is actually blue with a faded off white star, which would clarify that it is American. However of all the pictures I’ve looked at of the P-47 they have the American marketing closer to the back, in between the tail and the cockpit. You can also see the circle at other points in the video and it looks like there is one on the other side.

Yes the scenery is stunning. But let's be honest here, it certainly doesn't hurt to have Brittany in the video as well. Looked like a good dive! You do realize a tandem kayak is called a divorce boat, because most of the time the woman never paddles. Seems you got lucky for a few minutes. Now I have to know for kicks....I have 5 wetsuits and 7 sets of surf jams....how many outfits ( wetsuits, bathing suits) does Britt own because every video she has something different on ? Does she own a bathing suit shop or boutique.....cause damn! Good video!
