What is the Infrared Rack Kit?

I am so excited to finally show you what the InfraRed Rack Kit is all about. As an InfraRed Paint Stripper owner/user since 2012, I felt there were a couple of areas to address, in regards to efficiency and usability.
Hand-held paint strippers get heavy in a hurry, am I right? Additionally, they spend 50% of the time on, sitting idle, and just hanging there while you are scraping. To make matters worse, it’s difficult, if not impossible to have one setup that covers the entire work area, fast and efficiently!
What if you could have your Infrared Paint Stripper simultaneously heating for you…while you scrape, and access nearly the entire work surface/area from one initial setup?

So wait. Is this just basically the handle part that the heat tool attaches to? It does not come with the rails or poles?

Hi Natalie, yes the $149 is for the custom locking bracket assembly, hardware, and tech data - $149. Local purchase is about $100. Compare to Speedheater's small "Arm" that is $300 + shipping. I provide you with a quick shopping list with links to easily make the local purchases at Home Depot/Lowes. You also get the video and documentation tutorials that walk you through everything.
The large parts for the Rail System are much cheaper for you to buy locally due to extremely high oversized shipping costs, so I try to keep your costs low. Thanks for the question!

Will this work with The Craftsman’s IR paint stripper?

Hi Joanna! Unfortunately, it wont work with the IR Paint Stripper due to tool size and plastic construction. The IR is good for small to medium sized jobs, whereas the Speedheater is better for those larger paint stripping jobs such as exterior siding.
