You know what I think it does too it's like the perfect era correct look. It's such a shame that that engine is locked up so tight I was really looking forward to driving this thing.

@@greasebellygarage it'd be a cool ride. Unfortunately, a replacement engine will cost more than the car is worth. Sad day....

@Archersgarageandwhatnot Yes so I found that out the hard way by trying to find a 351 Cleveland nearly impossible especially a cheap one. At least a known runner. Also the car is not worth a rebuild either unfortunately. It's a real shame maybe a powertrain swap for another guy, put a coyote in it!

My Jr. Vice Principal had a 70-71 Galaxie for years until the School district told him he had to get a new car because it didn't "look good for a School Administrator to be driving an old car". The Beak btw was called "Bunkie Beak" after Bunkie Knudsen, who was the President of Ford at the time, he's also the guy that "The Boss" Mustang was named after, and he was the head of GM during the early years of the Muscle car era, I knew him personally btw, My high school Gf Suzy was his great granddaughter. Even at his advanced age he still loved to go fast, I had a 76 Camaro in High School and everytime he came to visit he always made an excuse for Suzy and I to take him somewhere so he could ride in Camaro, I love watching documentraies about how "John Delorian and the Pontiac guys built the GTO in secret" Because that's absolute horse dung, Bunkie KNEW what they were up to and just didn't go over on purpose until it was too late to be able to do something about it, I remember seeing a picture of Bunkie in the mid 70's after Bunkie retired and Bill Collins, and Russ Gee, 2 of the engineers at Pontiac during the Muscle car years were wearing t-shirts that said "Bunkie Knew". He knew what they were doing over there at Pontiac he just stayed away from the Pontiac Building so he didn;t have stop them. Absolutely loved that guy.

@@greasebellygarage Yep, There's a big misconception about Bunkie and what he knew and didn't know when it came to the development of the GTO, He "didn't know" Wink Wink Nudge Nudge but in reality he knew ALL about it, he just intentionally stayed away from the Pontiac building on purpose he could tell the shareholders "He didn't know" until it too late to stop it but he knew and was behind it the entire time.

@TheREALOC1972 I've heard the bunky beak term for years but I never thought to associate it with that guy. that really is an interesting story.

It doesn't show in the video but I actually spent about 6 hours trying to unlock this thing. Pretty sure it's never going to happen. Fords are always a pain!
