I live about 45 minutes from Mt Airy. My granddaugthers and I like to go often to downtown and shop. I have never taken the tour. Thanks for taking us along. Learned many interesting things.
My uncle loved the andy griffin show. If i had of known about this before he passed away i would have loved to take him to do this.

We were there not too long ago and did the sqad car tour. We loved it, we even went to snappy lunch and had the famous Andy porkchop sandwich. It was really good, you must try it. We love Mt. Airy

My own childhood, growing up in a small town in the 60’s was a lot like Mayberry.
How I miss those times, even more so, the way our world is now😢

Brought back alot of memories. I stayed at Mayberry Motel every 2 weeks for 6 years. I sold and delivered drill bits and steel to NC Granite Quarry for drilling the granite blocks . Loved Mt Airy , thanks for the memories ......
