    Rare to find anti spin users nowadays. It's definitely not easy to play with anti spin player. Thanks for sharing this video 👍

    Ciao Andrea , credo che la piuma rosa sia il miglior compromesso, questa rossa potrà sorprendere l’avversario che sta un pochino lontano visto che i block escono corti e con buona inversione mi sembra. Il segreto sta nella tua capacità di twiddling durante i match. Se posso permettermi un consiglio prova un allenamento con anti andando in spinta e non restando passivo. Ciao , alla prossima 🏓

      Grande Pablo! Hai assolutamente ragione. La rosa è la più equilibrata e al momento è quella che mi da più sensazioni positive in gioco. Purtroppo son scarso nello spingere con l'anti...devo lavorarci parecchio! Infatti per disperazione sto girando molto di più racchetta per picchiare di rovescio con la liscia.😂

    pink looks a bit slower to me or same as this red. It might be a great idea to do a test of different rubbers you get simultaneously so it would be a good eye opener and comparison for the viewers. It would definitely help the viewership for your channel as well cause there is no side by side comparison for Frictionless anti rubbers. I am also playing with nittaku antipower just to give it a try and I like it mostly on a OFF blade (joola nobilis pbo c ) What blade and forehand rubber do you use?

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  3 роки тому +1

      Hi rakishman!
      I confirm that the red sponge is slower...it is softer than the pink one.
      I made this "series" precisely because the viewers could evaluate the differences between the Spinlab sponges.
      If i get new antispin i will do a video with your suggestion! ;)
      I'm using Stiga Carbonado 190 and Donic Bluestorm Z2.

      @@AndreaAschi I understand but head to head is a different topic like having 2 setups with pink and red in the same video would be a more concrete comparison giving the same impact on both and looking at the reactions of the different antis in my honest opinion but as I said overall I like your videos. I personally cannot judge which one is slower as most likely it s very marginal on open play type of videos

      @@AndreaAschi It s been a long while since i posted in this thread but i am going back and forth between something like 1.2 red or 1.7 or 2.3 pink. I would like to have a lighter setup , do you think 1.2 red is slower than 2.3 pink? Is there a considerable weight difference between the two different thickness of sponges? I am going to order some sponges in different thicknesses and put on an OFF blade , what would you order if you had to reorder today?

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  3 роки тому +1

      Hi my friend, perfect timing!! 😊
      I just ordered new sponges to test on stiga Cybershape.
      I chose 2 red sponges (1.2mm and 1.7mm), 1 pink (2.3mm because 1.7mm is not available at the moment) and 1 yellow (2.0mm).
      As you can see I only took slow sponges because I prefer them but if you want to try something faster the beje and the green are good options as well.
      The sponges have all the same weight at equal thickness. You can save 2-3 grams if you take a thinner one. The big difference is between topsheets. For example my ABS is 14 grams and a Vortex I have is 24 grams!

    Hello Andrea, when i watched your videos it seems so easy. I have thz impression you are passive on balls. Is this the case ?. How Can you describe your technicity on each attacking balls of the video ? Do you need to relax or adapt the wrist and arm on each ball. I have no backhand and i am only passive with my long pips.

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  3 роки тому +1

      Hello David!
      It seems easy because i cut the errors.😜 Jokes aside...with the combination of this video is really hard to be active because the sponge is extremely slow.
      When i receive a flat ball i always use my wrist a little bit (like a "chop" near the table) holding my elbow high.
      When i receive a powerful shot i don't move the wrist and i keep the racket perpendicular to the table.
      You have to stay as relaxed as possible during the shots.

      @@AndreaAschi hello Andrea thank you for your reply. It's very interesting and rich in detail. I have a small level (départemental). I want to change long pips for antispin. But you know , in inferior division, the level is not the same. Generally, in a game, if good player does not lead the game , because he's not at ease with special rubbers (antispin, long pips, antitop) , he changes his strategy, changes rythm by playing passive mode, using flat ball, playing simply but securely. No attacks no effect, like a beginner ( i dont know if you understand what i mean, i am french 🤣). It IS a good strategy against me, because i panic . And my balls are not agressive with m'y long pips. Players are patient and they wait for my mistakes (either i give an easy ball (high ball) or out of the table, because of my stress). I would like to develop a similar playing style like with mylong pips. I know i have to be Close to the table more often. I didnt know how to be agressive on no spin/rythm ball. Hoping with antispin i will succeed. But i need this feeling to play at mid distance , like chopping from Time to Time (i love this stroke). I need as well the more deceptive ans reversal antispin rubber. Can you help me in the choice of this kind of antispin rubber i am looking for? (For information, i Switch often side in the match) Which sponge, which rubber is suitable for me. My blade are defense blade but they are categorized as allround since they are enough to play at mid distance (due to their flexibility).
      I use these 2 ones :
      A. Donic Senso Defplay V3
      And this one i have just purchased yesterday for future use of antispin or long pips.
      B. OSP Immune Pushblocker
      The forehand side IS flexible
      The backhand is Hard
      I love flexible for attacking but with long pips i am not at ease because of m'y lack of technic.
      May i give a preview of my video to suggest me which rubber may correspond to my style and by improving it as well (develop New strategies, New Stroke etc)

      @@CHONG76600 Hi David!
      I saw your videos. You have good fh attacking and bh chopping abilities.
      I keep thinking that, seeing your style, you don't need a frictionless anti like ABS but a more nanageable antispin.
      A good choice would be Lion Mantlet. It's similar to frictionless anti but it's suitable for middle distance shots (like chop) and aggressive shots near the table. It's a slow rubber so it will match perfectly on your OSP blade. It's also very cheap...a good way to start practicing with antispin! ;)

      Hi Alexandre!
      Yes, I'm still playing with Carbonado 190.
      In this video I played with the slowest sponge ever (red 2.3mm one). That sponge gives you great control in any situation and on any off/off+ blade.

      Hi Angus! You are right. The guy in the video is in the top 30 of the Italian ranking. He is very strong and he knows how to play against antispin.
      The red sponge is good because it offers you great control. Against good loopers it works very well. Against weaker players is not good.
      the pink sponge is the one i like the most...is the most balanced.
      The yellow one is interesting...excellent when attacking but less manageble in the passive shots.

    Io gioco con la Lion Mantlet sul rovescio del telaio Sanwei Two Face. Penso sia simile alla Vortex con la gomma più lenta, però un minimo di spin riesco a darlo. La Vortex è completamente senza spin?

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  3 роки тому

      Buonasera Bruno.
      Si la Vortex nasce con la superficie priva di attrito. La Mantlet ci somiglia ma avendo un minimo di attrito permette di controllare meglio.
      Immagino neanche quella faccia i miracoli...bisogna sempre fare affidamento sul diritto! 🙂

    Hi there ! Do you plan on trying the green sponge ? I heard it is the most toxic sponge (best spin reversal, lower throw and very good attacking potential) but it's quite fast, faster than the yellow sponge.
    Thank you for the content ! It's always nice to see an anti spin player uploads video of him playing !

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  3 роки тому +1

      Hi my friend! Thank you for your support! :)
      What you heard is absolutely true. I used the 2.5mm green sponge at the beginning, then i switched to the pink one because i was looking for more control. On Carbonado is a very fast combo. 😅
      Now that i have more experience i could definetly try it again.
      I have only one video on my channel of me playing with the green sponge: ua-cam.com/video/Tyjri-mkqbI/v-deo.html&ab_channel=AndreaAschi
      As you can see the spinreversal you can achieve is fantastic!!
