Stannis, the majority of children in orphanages in America are waiting to be placed back with their parents. Most of them are not available to adopt. There are more waiting children in other countries than in America. We asked local orphanages that very question and this is the answer we got. Upon further research, we confirmed this.
My parents are from Kolkata so I know Bengali!! The woman that hugged Cadence at the very end before she left said “be good for them and if you need anything tell them”
I’ve watched a lot of adoption videos, but this one is so beautiful... the way she smiles and knows it’s mom and dad, she even leads them out the door. I’m in tears

I watched this video almost 5 years and I felt bit emotional then all of sudden I got recommendation from youtube on Cadie's dinner date with Dad felt so happy she grew up well, good parenting❤
I started tearing up when you guys saud she peaked through the corner and smiled at you. I just pictured the whole thing and thought how excited and shy she must be to meet her new parents. I love how the orphanage kept a special bio book for her. That was the first time I've seen or heard of one ever since I started watching adoption videos! Bless you for opening your home and your hearts to give this girl a family she can call her own! 💕💕

Every adoption must be so bittersweet for those that take care of them while they're at the orphanage. Their hearts must be so big to be able to love each children but they also work hard to make sure each of them get adopted and find new families, and know that someday they have to say goodbye to them.
I volunteer at an orphanage and it’s really hard having to say goodbye but it makes you so happy when you see them leaving with their family and you know it’s the best for them

I just can feel how she can't when she can't speak English.She wants to say many things but she can't not. When I was adopted I wanted to say so many things but I couldn't, I was so happy when I could tell my mom everything in English.
We encourage her to speak bengali, so that she will be able to at least express every emotion, whether understood or not. Then we work to interpret everything she says, using Google Translate. It is time consuming, but it works and it helps us connect emotionally.
2 in a Zoo that's great you encourage her to speak her 1st language, maybe when she can speak english fluently she can teach you her 1st language. Would be cool for her to keep a part of her culture :)

awe i love it, that was so cute. i couldn't make out what the woman in the green salwar kameez said to her prior to 14:45, she was giving her advice to do something later on and then at 14:45 she said was, "balo koreh pora shuna," which was her telling her to work hard in school/her studies, it literally means good do studying. very kind ppl!

The people at the orphanage seem quite nice. Cadie looks comfortable with them. That isn't always the case at orphanages. I am happy for Cadie.
I just can feel how she can't when she can't speak English.She wants to say many things but she can't not. When I was adopted I wanted to say so many things but I couldn't, I was so happy when I could tell my mom everything in English.
We encourage her to speak bengali, so that she will be able to at least express every emotion, whether understood or not. Then we work to interpret everything she says, using Google Translate. It is time consuming, but it works and it helps us connect emotionally.
2 in a Zoo that's great you encourage her to speak her 1st language, maybe when she can speak english fluently she can teach you her 1st language. Would be cool for her to keep a part of her culture :)
