I received a free wig when I went through ovarian cancer in 2018. Then after my treatment ended and my hair started growing back I decided to grow it with the intention of donating when it got long enough. After 5 years of growing it, (two weeks ago) I was able to donate 14 inches and still have my hair down to my shoulders! I donated to Children With Hair Loss. It’s an amazing feeling!

I felt so emotional when they cut her hair.... I know how it feels to chop off years of maintaining and caring when you have long hair...like you get attached to it. She looks beautiful irrespective of what her hair length is, also short hair suits her too. She's a born beauty.

She was so nervous then too, and I remember because she had to have her hair cut so low back in India and for her to be doing this is so sweet of her but also a big step in her life because she’s become so comfortable with her life that she knows if it’s cut, it will grow back!
