Me too. I actually love some of the skincare. They've come out with some great newer products, I especially love the moisture surge line. My first skincare as a teen was Clinique and it wasn't a good match (also it couldn't keep up with teenage acne which I wasn't getting treated for so I blamed the skincare). But now in my 30s I've found the right products and it's great. I use the moisture surge moisturizer every day. I may have to give the complexion products a try!
Worked for Clinique all through University. Love seeing it get a comeback. So many good, underrated products. Miss my old lab coat days behind the counter.
I've always chosen pink blushes for myself but months ago Julia inspired me me to try a dark reddish blush and I've never looked back! Now I need that clinique one haha
Can you share which brand & shade of more reddish blush you have switched to please? I am always using pinks. Pink lips, pink blush. Unsure which would work on my fair skin. TIA ❤
When you said the foundation works "even better" than you thought, I giggled 😅 thank you for your honest review as always ♥️ bought the whole black honey line thanks to you 🥰
I’ve been using Clinique since I was 14. I still love them even though they dc’ed some of my favorite products like the moisture surge lip gloss… and the double ended quickliner in sable …and my most favorite lip product impossibly glossy in cream soda
Clinique was the only non drug store brand I used as a teen before I stopped using makeup; it had that prime spot in the department stores next to the cool new clothes. Plus those free gifts with the super cute little makeup bags lured me in ❤️
Girl when you did the zoom in on the complexion i legit thought you were out of focus because your face was SO BLURRED! i also love this vid because i need hypoallergenic makeup because of my sensitive skin😍 in love
Thanks for doing a full face of Clinique ! I’ve been trying to get into the brand but have no idea what products are good and what aren’t really worth it, so this really helped ^^
I haven't used a Clinique foundation since I discovered my holy grail Nars soft matte, but Even Better used to be my absolute favorite for years! Maybe I'll give it another go, because your skin looks phenomenal!! ❤️
Clinique's Moisture Surge Hydro Plump lip treatment is the absolute best lip balm I have ever used. I have a topic dermatitis and the skin around and on my lips is often super dry and irritated. I have tried dozens of lip balms and nothing works as well as Clinique's!
Love that Clinique concealer! I swear it also helps in terms of undereye skincare as well as it smooths and plumps. I notice a difference when I don't use it.
Thanks for the clinic review! I actually have this foundation at home , now I want to start using it again. I have been using the clinic moisturizer for about 7 years and love it. My skin is so sensitive with break out although I’m 41. I continue to love your channel although I have unsubscribed from many other make up channels but not yours. I love your color choices on looks and your recommendations I have found to be really good. I love the rusty reds and burnt orange lip colors and blushes. I love wearing cover fx honey color which I wear a lot. Thanks god your honesty!! 😊💞
The blushes are def my favorite Clinique makeup product. If you haven't tried their skincare, the moisture surge moisturizer is great for under makeup!
That Clinique fave gelee is so amazing. I am fair as well and I apply it on its own with a damp sponge. It isn’t overwhelming, quite subtle actually if you go easy. Love it
I'm so glad you did this video Julia....I am in my 50's & back in the day before MAC & during Stagelight days - Clinique was the shiznit!! Everyone used the Dramatically different Mositurizing lotion & the blush shade Clover ( at least me & my friends ) and plenty of other items - you really had to save up to go to the Macy's counter & purchase some Clinique items. I remember having to ask the lady at the counter how it was pronounced - I thought it was Clini - Q - Lol! Anyway, there are always so many new brands & products I feel Clinique has gotten really lost in the shuffle - save for their Pop it blushes et al a few years back. So I really enjoyed this view of several of Clinique's products that in particular I have been curious about.....so thanx! Wonderful job as always ♥
I think for your undereyes the loose powder in #3 would work better. It has a bit of a pink undertone. The invisible blend looks a little yellow on me and I wear a cool neutral foundation also.
I think the eyeshadow sticks are meant to be used as a one and done all over the lid shadow. Not meant to be blended with other shadows or precise application.
I agree, the mascara falls flat and I don’t even keep them when I get the deluxe size for free. But I do highly recommend the cleansing balm “take the day off.” I haven’t found a better balm and use this every day!!
Bare affair color cheek pop is also so pretty. I’ve always been a blush girly so for me to really like this color that’s so nude I think says something. It’s very soft but still does something. It’s a perfect true no make up look
I have seen a couple of skincare influences on UA-cam slam Clinique. Only reasons I could put together was because they wanted to push K-Beauty instead & saying they are an old lady brand. WTH? If something works very well than maybe THATS the reason it’s stuck around and folks still use it?🤷🏻♀️🙄Thank you Julia for always giving honest reviews of products 💕
ahh, it just makes me crack up whenever I hear somebody younger say that something is old lady-like...pretty dumb considering they are also, if they are lucky, going to be getting older and much sooner than they expect 😅 And you are right, if it works and stays around for long, it is because it is good, also if it works well for an "older" lady (like many products from the L´oreal age perfect line) it means it actually is very good, so it should work and look great on younger people too.
So glad to see this because I never see anyone using Clinique products so I never know how their products are besides one foundation I used in the past.
I've tried that cherry cola Clinique blush because I wanted a red blush. I love it! It also layers well over a liquid red blush as well. The flower embossing is beautiful on the blush as well! Thanks for the video!
@@Ms.CindyLee Sephora still has the Clinique Black Honey cheek pop blush, if you're a Sephora shopper. I'm afraid they might be discontinuing these blushes, or maybe just certain shades, because they are a little harder to find than they used to be. But, Black Honey is beautiful if you find it somewhere.
You’ve inspired me to buy the foundation and the bronzer thing you used. Years ago they had a matte foundation called ever true and it was the best foundation ever. I’m sad that it no longer exists.
Clinique is one of my favorite skin care lines also. I also don’t like the chubby stick for eyes. I like the blush and highlighters but not the eyes. The slate eyeliner you have is a must for me. I have not EVER found that blue/grey color in a line and it matches my eyes perfectly.
The sponge on the concealer isn’t good for applying, but it’s perfect for dabbing out the creasing before setting with powder!! I prefer more natural looks so I actually love the chubby eye sticks as a wash of all over color (they do set down). Shelbey Wilson here on UA-cam raves about the lilac shade, and I think that one would be more up your alley, if you ever gave them another shot. The blushing blush in sunset glow is holy grail status for me. Clinique is definitely an underrated brand!
When I started wearing makeup my mom took me to the clinque counter and bought me a bunch of products 🥺 i haven't worn it since I was 13 but maybe I'll have to revisit some
I really enjoy the moisturizer from Clinique and it's going to be half off in the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty sale. I also like that the foundation feels more like a serum and works well for my sensitive and reactive skin. I've never tried the blush or lip products but after seeing this video I am sure I will!
The Even Better Glow with SPF is like their Mac face and body. Glowy and light coverage. I think you would like it too. They also have the blush pop hybrid pearl blushes that look pretty
The Cocoa Rose liner is my exact lip color. Love it. And I love the Black Honey Almost Lipstick; and I love the Dramatically different lipsticks. The Blushing Nude is the only nude I have ever had luck with. Love it. I do have the Lisa Eldridge Muse which looks good but does not look like a nude on me; it is more pink. Love it; but the Clinique one is def more of a true nude for me. I do have to say that their True Bronze is one of my favorite bronzers of all time. I use both the Sunkissed and Sunblushed depending on time of year.
Vita Liberata has a product called Trystal mineral powder it's a self tan lose bronzer powder that you use ware you use bronzer and it self tans your skin and you can contour your face and body with it. I got it awhile ago. I am not really into Clinique but I love the pop blushes and the eyeliners are pretty good but I only have tried the black.

Did u use a face moisturizer under this?? If so which one?? This looks amazing....now I wish I would have bought that foundation when it first came out years ago.....the concealer too!!! And the the powder and the contour type stuff .....WOW IM LOVING THEIR COMPLEXION PRODUCTS 😘😘😘💕💕💕
For me, Clinique’s best mascara is Lash Power, which is one of the OG tubing mascaras. It’s super subtle with one coat, but it builds easily to fluttery dense lashes… it’s their hidden gem, in my opinion. I like some of their base products, but I can hardly get a shade match in my light-medium neutral olive yellow tones, even in store. Everything goes pink, peach or orange… Sadly, the offer for darker skins is embarrassing. I could never find the cheek pops in Portugal, don’t know what’s up with that :)
I use Clinique Under Eye cream and I love it ! It's just so damn expensive (87$) for the biggest pot. Also, I received their advent calendar this christmas and it was great to try some products and find new favorites at a reasonable price (100$ for 24 items, 23 pocket sized, 1 full sized)
I love their serum foundation, it looks so beautiful but unfortunately I can't seem to find a good shade match, I really hope they improve their undertones in foundations, texture wise that foundation is magical
would love a faves video for like everyday makeup and also camera/event makeup personally I find that my makeup does not last at all and I'm trying to fix that haha

Ha. I used it in the 80s as a teen. For me, it was bougie. Well, even now, as I use drugstore more so.
Clinique truly has some underrated items! Especially for more sensitive skin types!
i feel like people don’t give clinique enough credit. as i get older, i like the brand more
Me too. I actually love some of the skincare. They've come out with some great newer products, I especially love the moisture surge line. Can I suggest a full skincare routine? You’re looking flawless as ever 👏🏼 💜
I've tried that mascara it does get better with age, cute look. Thanks for reviewing. Your gorgeous. Want those blushes.
Lol when she said age I thought she slipped and meant in time on her eyes. Omgosh ..I'm the one slipping. Thanks for pulling me back in.
The blush thoooooo,, I’m in love 💕💕🤩🤩

What brush did you use for that gelee bronzer
would love a faves video for like everyday makeup and also camera/event makeup personally I find that my makeup does not last at all and I'm trying to fix that haha
The bronzer looked so good! Plus I would assume that since it kind of "tints/tans" the face, that it would be pretty long-wearing!
what's the brush you're using for bronzer?

are they cruelty free?
their blushes are seriously in my top top powder blushes: packaging, design, colors, and pigment. I want to collect them all I only have three bahaha
Lately I’ve been buying Clinique again because they are effective simple and very high quality
I’m so annoyed that the black honey blush isn’t available in the UK!
