I have super oily skin, and I’m so glad that you’re on this platform. I feel like every other YTer says to wear MATTE, FULL COVERAGE foundation and listen, I’m oily AND sweaty. It’s gonna break up. Everything does lol. I prefer something lighter that when it does finally break up, I don’t look like a melting wax figure. Lol 😂 I love the salt NY sneaky balm in the summer for the same reason you listed for the NYX, it’s lightweight and has 30% pigment. When it does wear away, it’s gorgeous. Not cakey. Anyway, all this to say thank you for realistic oily/combo recommendations. ❤❤
I live in Vegas and also swear by using the NYX concealer as foundation too. It’s been abt 115 degrees here lately and everything sweats off but it feels nice and light. Love it when you have your hair up like that Julia ❤

A long time ago you got me hooked on Tom ford Abyssinian for a summer proof lid color. Still using that! I highly recommend Urban Decay all nighter pressed powder as a final step. I live in southern Cali so we are literally living in sweat lol doesn’t matter what makeup look I go for, I always finish with this and it never budges. You can sweat, cry, anything! and your makeup stays looking fresh.

girl this is like the same exact makeup i’ve been doing all summer! 😅 been loving a lot of glossier products lately, their skin tint and stretch concealer have been staples for me, super thin and lightweight. i also love the kosas cloud set and the auric glow lust 🥰 and the hydro grip primer!! so amazing in the summer. loved this video! ❤️
Yes blush video! I saw Soph show a blush look where she underpainted a LOT of a water tint blush. I use concealer around it and it looks like its shining through. I can set it with a powder blush and it lasts all day!
I didn't like that elf gel moisturizer too much but I can't get enough of the elf holy hydration line. The daily moisturizer and the cream which comes fragrance free is so good! I don't feel the need to use other brands especially as the price is so good. Also the melting balm is incredible.

Both are fantastic brushes and I use both often! I do like how big the BK beauty one is because it gets the job done quicker because of its size and it has a good angle to it so I can get into the sides of my nose and under my eyes as well.

Julia!! Do you have any primer recs for super-duper acne prone skin? I can't seem to find one that doesn't break me out! That elf one has hydrogenated castor oil which clogs my pores so badly :( It seems like every primer out there has oils in it or pore clogging ingredients, I don't get it. ugh.
