@phoenixpyrocreations This video was on Jon's channel at one point. This is when I downloaded a copy so I could watch it offline. Then Jon ran into some legal copyright issues with Coldplay over this song and thus he had to remove it from his own channel (as he couldn't legally have it up as promotion, nor could he sell the song for profit). When I found this out, I thought music this good shouldn't be kept from the masses, so I uploaded my own file (not for profit). =)

I remember watching this on Multiply. Back then, Steven and Jon weren't even the Piano Guys yet. The group was formed after this collaboration.

I was 15 when I first found this, I remember because me and my then girlfriend would play it together.
I'm 25 now, in a whole different position I was then.

This song/arrangement is what got me into the Piano Guys. 3 years later, they're some of my favorite musicians - it's clear that they LOVE what they do & that even if they didn't have an audience, they'd still make music, and have all the fun in the world doing it. Rock on, guys.

Listened to this multiple times when I was struggling studying abroad...looking back at it, such a memory. It was full of tears, and finally full of joy.

I've listened to this some time back. I loved it so much. I already knew Love Story. It made me want to look for Coldplay's Viva La Vida. Man, these guys introduced me to Coldplay!

Right around 3:40 and 3:55 is when I was overcome with indescribable happiness and musical connection as a fellow pianist for two reasons:
1. The mind spasmodic melodies and harmonies that created and the phenomenal talent of these performers.
2. The brilliant smiles that spread across their faces as they immerse themselves in the thing that pumped through their bodies- music
When life gets so gloomy, I listen to this song. This wonderful arrangement never fails to renew my hope to live another day... its just fascinating; it gives me endless power to keep on struggling with intense passion for a bright tomorrow. Piano Guys, you're the greatest !!!

I remember this song on was on a gifted ipod 10 years back, I got my inspiration and love for playing music through this and I got my first piano back then, had progressed till fur elise then stopped. Few months ago - so many years later, I start playing again and I remembered this song and specifically searched for it!

To this day, I can vividly imagine this song playing on my wedding day. It seems perfect. "Love Story" is playing as the bridal party is introduced, and right when the bride begins walking out, "Viva La Vida" starts playing. It seems like the perfect rendition for this kind of situation. I hope it gets used. If it gets used, I would 100% petition the rights to this rendition. What an amazing conjunction of two songs that you never normally imagined being used together....
I did the same thing for my sisters wedding in Thailand Island. It was amazing when bride came out and I switch the song ... everyone loved the idea.. and said well mixed.. haha... thank you piano guys
My wife and I used it for our wedding. Our nieces played piano and violin and a couple of brothers from a neighbouring church sang the vocals. The wedding party all walked in perfectly on part and I will never forget the double doors being opened and seeing my wife and my father-in-law walk out just as the music changed. It was so awesome. Now hearing this song often brings tears to my eyes (which doesn't usually happen to me, ha)
Of course the video was lost and we never got to watch it... But, honestly, it is so perfect in our memories that it might be better that way. I just wish that my bride could have seen more of it.

Part of me wishes that we did it that way too. But by the time I got out of high school and graduated college I forgot about this compilation and when I met my, now, wife we had picked out a different song that was special to us so it still worked out and in the end it was the way it was meant to be.
