It's a beautiful combination! The cleans alone are amazing same with the screams. Combines them, and you get this! Hope we see more of it in future music from them.

My step father (who was more of a real dad than my own) passed away on February 4th. Music was a big part of our relationship. He taught me the drums, he taught me guitar, he got me into the classics which got me into the heavier music.

+Giruga x Hakusho Honestly i agree. it was pretty average.. lol trying to hard to follow the trend of experimental slow grungey heavy stuff. Whiiich I like but. No not for the word alive. I wanna hear stuff like "Wishmaster" nonetheless artists are meant to do what they want so respect for them if thats the sound they want now.
+zachmongoe It has actually grown on me quite a bit by now. Was never really a fan of their older stuff except for a select few songs here and there but i think it's good that they're trying to develop their sound. Take on some Nu metal deftones/Linkin park-ish influence. I'm all for it.

I'm not a huge fan of this kind of metal, but this is actually pretty good. I also like the fact, that they decided to record a nice music video with good animations underlining the thematic of the song. I wish more bands and labels would do this kind of stuff.

+Unguided Reaper Well, I listened to it because it popped up in my subscription box because I'm subbed to Nuclear Blast. What I was trying to say is, that I don't usually listen to metal core (this is core, right?). But like with everything there are exceptions and this band/song just might be one. There is good and bad music in every genre and sub-genre. My main point was about the visuals though. They are very nice and fitting for the song. In a time of lyric videos I wish for more cool actual music videos! :)

one of best alongside with Parkway drive,August burn red,Breakdown of sanity,Killswitch engage,Trivium,As i lay dying,Architects,Unearth.
+Benz Skyes You can't call Trivium metalcore anymore tho. Their last metalcore album was released in 2005 after that they became a different beast. Killswitch engage will always be the godfather of metalcore. Everytime they release an album it's a clear "Daddy's home" situation. My personal favorite is Architects but ABR, Parkway and BT are right up there.

+Arthur Ramalho Miss May I's first album was great, but after that, they went downhill more and more with every album. With Deathless got better again, but it's still by far not as great as Apologies Are For The Weak.
Same goes for All That Remains. The Fall Of Ideals is still one of my favourite albums to this day, but their recent releases have been really weak for me. Their songs just lack something their earlier songs had. Not only because they have a lot of soft songs (I think that they did a far better job on the soft songs on earlier albums), but also because they don't stick out anymore at all.
The rest of the bands you mentioned are great, especially While She Sleeps is massively underrated. But for me, they still can't compete with ABR, PWD, Architects and BT. Those bands are definitely the top bands of today's metalcore.
The clean/screams sung in unison is fantastic! Loving the lead guitar parts near the end as well. Can't get enough of the song really.
Epic video. The imagery is compelling. The allusions to Botticelli map of hell and Dantes divine comedy are over the top amazing. Love the three headed devil eating the sinners. Such a simple yet powerful message you must go through hell to find paradise.

Unreal music and video. Been listening since they started and I accidentally stumbled on their material (specifically message to a king and the whole Union of Crowns) and haven't stopped listening. Absolutely underrated as mentioned by others, crazy good instruments and vocals.
Literally the best under appreciated Metalcore band out there! They're awesome!
I heard Lionheart first, then I listened to every song they've ever released over and over.
I started on an honorable reign... but royal blood and 1603 are the 2 that fully hooked me into them... they are easily one of the most listened to bands in my selection and probably always will be

Since I watched this, the last album of them I had listened to was Portrait (2009). and now I'm surprised that they're improving their music so hard! (old albums are still good though!)
Every song of theirs sounds different and brilliant!! One of the best metalcore bands.

I dont know the different genres of metal out there, but I just listen to whatever suits my taste in terms of the electric guitar's melody, or the brutality of the sounds when it comes to those death metàl whatever thingies where they bounce their heads so hard its gonna detach from them. 2 years since i was introduced to this realm of music, and Ive never went away.

The vocal outro is something I have sung. Out loud. In public. It's a power and an energy that mainstream music just can't match. It's also one of the few songs my gf will listen to with screaming because it is just so god damned essential to scream somethings.
