that will be my next mower..hoping to get trough this season with my Snapper rear engine riding. The snapper is a great mower but I spent more than the cost of the pwersmart every two years on maintenance.
Doing what? I haven't spent that much on mower maintenance in the 15 years I have been a homeowner. And 5 of those years was using a 20 year old Walmart Murray.
@@nearly-blindbrian8372 But they're not though. I've only ever owned riding mowers and the most I spend on them is a $15 oil and filter change once a year. That's literally all they need unless you have to replace a belt once every 10 years or so. What are you doing to your mower that requires going to a shop? If you're abusing your mower that bad, I highly doubt an electric will hold up any better. If I were spending that much on maintenance, I'd just hire someone to mow my yard.
I don't like it either. I have to imagine that nobody likes it. Now that the review is done I can open it up and see if I can rig it to only go when the lever is pressed.
It is really strong! I don't have a Timemaster so I can't say. But I do have the 30" DR and it is stronger than this. But this really is surprisingly strong. I wasn't expecting it to mulch that thick area. But it did it, very cleanly. I really like this mower. I'll post more on it soon.
Yes, I was just thinking about making a video "just mowing" with no talking with this mower. The cruise control is a bit annoying, but it can be dealt with.
Battery powered mowers aren't the best fit for evey situation. Show me a comparable gas push mower that can complete 6 acres without stopping to refuel...Go choke on your crickets...
You mow 6 acres non-stop with a push mower? I think there are battery-powered riding mowers that can do 3+ acres now with swappable batteries (so only a quick battery swap to do 6 acres). Expensive but getting close to that use-case. And I don’t think an electric mower has any special maintenance requirements.
Bought this mower from powersmart-amerisun-horrible customer service, all phone numbers disconnected. Arrived w/o manual, warranty paper, battery, charger, starter key, grass shield. After 3 wks of trying to get parts from customer service. I’m returning the mower.
my only complaint would be those safety buttons on the handle. dont need the dummyman switch, just like the backup switch on tractors, make a safer tool and humans make a stupider idiot.
Mike, why don’t you ask your wife so she would be willing to do a review for all the women out there that want to use these lawnmowers a woman’s perspective ask her to find out
You should see her out there mowing a 1/2 acre with this. She loves it, mainly because she can't stand gas fumes. Not sure if she would be camera shy or not?
It's strong and smooth machine!

Like your videos you do some good videos
Hey make some more videos doing big yards I want to see more
Nice mower. Nice review. I went with an EGO after a ton of research. 👍🏻✌🏻
Looks like a nice machine - concerned about how maneuverable backing up, going around shrubs, etc.
I demand a race b/w red and yellow! j/k. Thanks for reviewing this mower. Not nearly enough info online about this model, so glad you jumped in.
D'oh! I really should have done that! Maybe I'll film a quick short doing that...

@@style5tie riding mowers are great but expensive to maintain, plus I do not have a truck so I have to pay the shop to pick up and return the machine.

Great mower
Great video, thumbs up :)
Wanted to get one but didn’t like the cruise control lock and when you turn

How does it compare to the timemaster? Just curious if I want to spend 500 for a kohler cv224 swap or spend a little extra and get a whole mower

@@Something2LookAt awesome! This mower has really caught my attention!
Can you please do a whole yard videos with this lawnmower I am about to get one

Intelligence in this statement…………crickets. Ignorance in this statement………air raid horn. 6 acres????? WTF is wrong with you??? 🤷🏼♂️👍🏻✌🏻

Wow. Yea, return that.
I feel like all the different Powersmart mowers are going to be a running joke for a while
Oh, the colors? It really is a thing. I like this flashy yellow one, but my wife likes the red one.

I hear you. I bypass safety switches all the time.
@@Something2LookAt i would expect nothing less! cheers from Ontario Canada longtime fan!
The next color of this mower might be orange 😂
dont knock it, it worked for the Focus ST, (which was subsequently called ASBO orange in the UK)
I would actually love to have an orange one!
@@Something2LookAt that would be a great idea to get it in orange 🍊
