The problem with the movie was no majesty, no power, no dynamism, and no stakes.
Dromedan is one of my all-time favorite villains!
Meet jack at the mavel convention in NYC. Eternals 1 just came out . Xmen 93 had sign .stan..clamount,...dave cockrum, created 3 character s for the legion. Storm... Colossus.. night crawler
I hated when they forced Kirby to add the "Hulk" to Eternals #14. Especially since it wasn't the actual Hulk. I always preferred the Eternals to be separate from the rest of the Marvel Universe. I never liked how they fused (retconned) the Eternals and Thor later on.
Absolute 💯 agreed
My Top 3 inkers for Kirby are Sinnott, Royer, and Everett. It's a hard call but I think Everett was my favorite Kirby inker. And as much as I hate Colletta for the sin of erasing huge pieces of Kirby's pencils, I did actually like his ink on Kirby's Thor. I grew up on those issues and his softer inks always made the art feel "foggy" for lack of a better word, as if watching the story in a dream and it made the stories feel "old", i.e. like they took place a long, long time ago.
I LOVE The ETERNALS because aside from his interest in the theory of ancient aliens assisting the progress of Humanity, Jack Kirby gave his sense of humor free reign! There are many more humorous moments throughout the series that make it fun to read! (I admit, the "Rock Em Sock Em Robots" gag went past me) but the next time I read the series I'll pay even more attention!
Whenever I read the individual issues, I would read the annual last to close out the series!
Eternals, Inhumans and New Gods don't work because you need someone on Jack's creative level to make it work..
So true! Though I have to admit, I did enjoy the Return of the New Gods with Newton's art. But none of the material that came after it.
@@Vintage-Bobthe Simonson stuff wasn't too bad..
@@tonyfrickey9062 I liked the Simonson run on Thor, for the most part. I stopped reading after that. I didn't care for the Thor/Frog story though, and I thought Beta Ray Bill was a stupid idea, character, and name. But overall (aside from those 2 things), the last great run on Thor.
I couldn't finish the movie. Unless it there was major plot twist the Enterals were robots, wtf? I'm done.
