Great place for the cats, but no roofed sheltered area in case it rains? I'm surprised. Beautiful work.
Funny, my first thought was "finally, a catio without the roof!" In my mind, the cats have the entire house for the rain. My cats LOVE soaking up the sunshine so I'd opt for this style if I could not build a shaded and unshaded outdoor space.
horizontal 2x4 wire and open brackets are both death traps. 1x1 or smaller hardware cloth and closed or L brackets only.
