This is me 24/7... I only use plastic in all leagues.. And let me just tell you, it is not received well at all. People have literally tried to fight me and threatened me with violence over using a spare ball(not joking).. And I use plastic because I have a nerve condition(bad Carpal Tunnel) in my arm and hand. I cannot use my thumb at all, and I have very little strength in my arms. And with todays modern equipment, I cannot control any of it, even after spending thousands of dollars trying every layout and bowling ball choice I could. I just throw the ball too slow with too much side axis rotation. Throwin plastic has been a game changer for me. I average almost 220 now. It is what works for me. I even tried flattening out my hand with reactive, but I only have 1 comfortable release and trying to flatten out my release causes me pain in my hand and wrist, even trying multiple different styles with a coach. I may be getting surgery to see if that can help me, but until then, I have to use plastic, and Ive gotten to the point now, where I just chuckle to myself when grown men get so mad and annoyed over a spare ball.
Thats wild i wonder why are they getting riled up over that i heard people get upset about urethane but why spare balls?
Forgot to bring my bowling balls on the first night of league, so I had to use an 8 lb plastic house ball (span too close and holes too big) and borrow house bowling shoes, which slid too much. Went on to bowl the best game of the whole season with a 226.🤣
Had strikes on both sides of the pocket at non-textbook weird angles, throwing a straight fast knuckle ball with no rotation. Book Average was 155.
Nothing better than the banter of two brothers bowling against each other. My brother and I don’t bowl against each other much anymore, so it’s rare anymore.

Just as a side note, in Oct '84 i was using a blue Dot for 431 going, but was losing the hook. Moved up to a white dot and had 731 for the day. In plastic, the hardness, shiny or dull also matters

I use my T-zone 10lb just like the one you use here as my main strike ball. I NEVER EVER wipe my ball & in FACT I want more oil on my ball for a better angled straight line to a strike. my First NO-TAP 300 this year 5-6-23 I was using my Brunswick spiral yellow, black & blue 14lbs fun ball in GLOW BALL bowling it was my 50th game. last game that day.
This made me laugh a lot and Brandon was just throwing that T zone good. and also at the end, was that supposed to happen where Brandon just decides to leave and leave Justin behind?

I can’t imagine how difficult it must’ve been to bowl as well as they did using plastic on these Lane conditions. Brandon scoring in the 240s is mine boggling, and he made it look effortless at times.

Here's a challenge for you: see who can get a domino strike first. a domino or I call it a backwards strike is when you just barley miss the head pin at an angle to the left or to the right (I have a couple 5 min video of me getting DOMINO strikes) its the HARDEST way to get a real strike. on the left side its a forward fall or DOMINO forward fall of the 1-2-4 that I think starts with the 7 pin. I think the DOMINO strike starts out as the LONG clothesline to the right or to the left & the end pin in that clothesline starts with either the 7 pin on the left side or the 10 pin on the right side DOMINO strike. the right side DOMINO strike is when the 1-3-6 pins fall forwards I think starting with the 10 pin. its really hard to see cuz it happens so fast. most of the time when I do get the DOMINO strike I have turned around & hear a click, click, click & need to watch my video to see what happened but I did see one of my DOMINO strikes live heheheheHA! I think its the coolest hit in bowling but its really hard to Purposely get. I tried over a couple hundred games to get it & NEVER did get it Purposely!!

Packy Hanrahan says after 100 games you can NO-longer get all the oil off your bowling ball even if you spray clean your ball & you need a new bowling ball. I have well over 300 games on my bowling balls & I have NEVER wiped the oil off them! I want more oil on them!! for a better straight line. I'm up to over 700 games 7,000 frames of bowling so far just since 5-6-23 heheheHA!

@@bryqi2229 The bowling alley is on SUMMER hours meaning they are closed M&TU. open W to TH from 12 noon to 10PM then on Friday they are open from 12 noon to 12 but glow ball starts at 10 pm & they say that's not part of the FREE summer bowling (if its the Head manager Randy Rawlston he lets me bowl in Glow ball for free & 2 of my 300 games I did during Glow ball), then sat they don't open until 5pm & are open until 12 midnight again glow ball from 10pm to 12pm not part of FREE summer bowling then on Sundays they open at 12 noon until 10pm another BUT is the first 2 weekends they had kids tournaments so I could NOT bowl until late on those sat & sun weekend if I could bowl at all that is. witch I couls not a couple times because I ain't the only one who can bowl for free in the summer. everyone one who pays $18 a week & on a league can do what I do bowl all they want as long as there are open lanes for open bowling. as with W they NEED all the lanes by 5pm on W so I need to stop at 5pm on W's. they have leagues every day they are open so those lanes are onlt for the league. bowlers on there night they bowl not open bowling. as with Fridays is my league night bowling. also they have other tounaments on other SAT & SUN weekends that I wont be able to bowl until later if at all. over all I bowl 50 straight game every W, TH, FRIDAy, SAT & sun every week accept holidays too. as with memorial day, forth of July etc. my high marathon so far is 102 straight games bowled in a row. today is SAT 6-3-23 I will have 1001 games or 10,010 frames bowled NOT counting league games since 5-6-23

I’m 45 .. I’m old school .. 1 handed bowler.. 2 handlers look like they are digging dirt … I’ve bowled plastic first ball for 42 years… hundreds of game over 200 with plastic.. to me it takes more skill to bowl 1 handed with plastic then 2 handed of any kind… plastic teaches u to rely on skill not hook
