Try fishing your glides on line with some stretch. Braid rips the hooks away as where floro or copol allows the fish to get the hooks better and use your heavy rod to drive the hooks in. Awesome video! Hope to see more like it.
Every time I'm getting ready to go fishing I like watching Lawson. He gets me pumped up even more then I already am🤘🤘. Driving 2 hours for some big ol Florida bass today🙏🙏💪💪🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Unfortunately because of spring break and snow birds there isn't one damn hotel room or campsite available near lake placid or istokpoga 🤬🤬🤬. And of course okachobee is packed as hell. Lake manatee here in Bradenton/Sarasota it is I guess. Got a 4 pounder last week so hopefully it's still hot
You have the best home waters. I love my home waters but I live across America here in Seattle. I’ve watched you catch fish for around a decade. Don’t stop. You inspire me to do what I love. Explore new places and keep learning my favorite waters. Hope to fish your home waters soon
Lawson is the GOAT of Inshore FL Fishing hands down!! I'll be in the backwaters of titusville tomorrow a.m. Pre-gaming on these vids losing sleep. Tight lines yall 🤙
The osprey comment was spot on. . This last week, spring break, I took the family to Petit Jean State Park in Arkansas. I was fishing with my 7-year-old son and watching the Bald Eagles. I hooked a bassabout 75 yards from the shore. It was a jumper. On its last jump, it threw my hook, and the bald eagle grabbed it out of the air. Both my son and I had blank stares. He broke the silence by softly saying "holy s&$t." I couldnt help but laugh, so he got away with saying it.
Hey Lawson, I've accidently caught a lot of birds in my fishing career. Seagulls, terns, pelicans, never caught an osprey, but one you don't want to tangle with and trust me on this is a loon. I suspect a cormorant would be tough too, but I hung a loon once and it fought like no body's business. Peeling drag, I couldn't turn him had to chase him in the boat they just don't give up. Very strong and tenacious they don't leave the water to fly from danger, until you're right up on them for the release. They've got a sharp pointed beak that they aren't afraid to use either. Mark my words, stay clear of loons. Btw, not sure they get down as far as your way, but I was fishing Tarpon Springs so they at least come that far south. Good video, I'm interested in how well your foot control trolling motor holds up fishing salty.
Just a suggestion, hit your lures with that Pro-cure. I use their different gels myself... I'm in Sacramento, Ca. I use it to match what's being chewed on all the time when i use artificial baits. I mostly fish cut and live baits.. I like what you've been doing lately Lawson. Never been a bigger fan!! Keep up the good work!
Its still the Snook Boat even if the snook have been shy lately, those cuders are persistent too so the snook are playing it low key lol tight lines man!
It’s crazy the amount of fish you see when you throw a glide bait it’s like a game of triggering them to eat. You should really keep throwing some glide baits they looked like they hadn’t ever seen one! This video was great.
Kinda cool you shared it was 5 hours and 2 bites on the glide. Many of us lose that perspective when watching UA-cam fishing and think it must be just bite after bite.
When you're fishing intercoastal areas and residential dock/sea wall areas like this, does the tide really come into effect? Or do you just get out when you can 😅
May only fish freshwater but basically all of my Topwaters are black. Most of the time the fish won't see much aside of the lures silhouette anyway, so I don't really get why there are such sophisticated decores on especially spook type lures.
Hey Lawson, love the vids and the steady/quality content. I live in the Bradenton area and I want to get into the content/UA-cam game. I was wondering if you would share your GoPro settings. The quality of you videos are on point. If ur interested you could do a gear/equipment video or if you have time hit me back. Thanks
Hi, Lawson. I'm truly glad that you're once again fully enjoying the challenges, triumphs, and heartbreaks of coastal fishing. Clearly, the shadows of sponsorship had darkened this vital and cherished part of your life. Your renewed excitement and pleasure are visible and palpable. Having said that, I need to question one aspect of this video, as well as the one before it: In both, you introduce us to an amazing-looking glide bait, which we barely hear was made by Theory Swimbaits. And, in both videos, you spend many hours fishing this bait, which the snook, jacks, and-especially-the barracuda really like to attack. BUT do you show us good, clear footage of how this custom glide bait looks when retrieved through the water? NO. In fact, we have no idea how it swims and glides. In the "Show More" section of each video, do you give us a live link to Theory Swimbaits so we can further investigate this obviously very talented lure-maker? NO. We have to go looking for him on our own. I am completely baffled by this. Could you take just a minute to explain your thinking?
Letsss gooo bubba. Waiting for that collab 👀

@@ADVENTURESOFBZ 💯 🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@ADVENTURESOFBZ I know, I've been trying to find a campsite for the last 6 weeks near Sebastian and nothing is available
Black/chartreuse, white with red head, or bone... thats it. Love topwater and those are the go tos.
Great vid. Your the first UA-camr I started watching when I started fishing. Thanks for all the information and tips.
Haven’t fished in years since I moved away from Florida, but still gonna watch my boi Lawson rip. Testament to how good his vids are
Love seeing you work that DC

The birds chasing the glide bait says a lot about how real it looks. Very cool. Gotta get some glide baits! Cool video!
Hey Lawson- Try adding a second set of like 185 lb test split rings to ea hook will improve hook up on such a deep bodied bait- Cheers!

More old school! Loving it! Want to see you beat the crap out of a Plopper on the sea walls again.
Anyone else notice Lawson storing lures on his shoe at 1:36??? 🤣

Yeah but how do Loons taste? 😂
Facts dude I'm hopefully about to catch my first tarpon ever today and I always gotta watch Lawson and this is about to get me pumped for today's sesh
Dedication to the craft is basically how I go about my top water fishing lol
That was a beautiful glide bait by frenzy wow 🤩 this video was awesome
Who else is absolutely stoked on the consistent uploads? 💯🤙🏼🤙🏼 keep it up man!

Nice expedition....watching from Dubai...Lots of strike.Stay safe and fish on....
Watching lawson panic from birds is the funniest thing while hes screaming "stop stop stop stop"
We were soooo close to seeing a first ever pelican catch n cook
Its still the Snook Boat even if the snook have been shy lately, those cuders are persistent too so the snook are playing it low key lol tight lines man!
Lol at 1:37 you have a swim bait hooked on your shoe 😂
Great video Lawson 🔥

You are sooooo dedicated to that swimbait. Respect! Don't stop believing....
Sorry. Glide bait.
Been watching since 2014, keep it up
Thks for sharing.
Bet that would imitate a bunker/menhaden really well up here in New England! 👌🏼
Lol that glidebait is literally called the Menhaden
Boom! Hes back.
Heading out fishing today around Pine Island Florida. Hoping for
A snook-trout-redfish slam!
My dawg what an awesome video once again, I rlly wanna fish with you one day awesome content bro.
I'm really liking your channel. Pretty good content.
Can't deny that glide was workin'!!! :) Be Safe
I like the lure testing videos. Pretty cool stuff. Was there a link for this guys lures? Maybe he could make the first Lawson Glide-bait edition lure
Super dope vid. Glides r sick
Whenever I use pinfish that size, I have a big problems with pelicans and birds in general and yea they are faster than you'd think 😂
Kinda cool you shared it was 5 hours and 2 bites on the glide. Many of us lose that perspective when watching UA-cam fishing and think it must be just bite after bite.
Put some big in-line single hooks on that glide bait and the snook will stay pinned, may also help keep the cudas off of it.
How does he not get tired of snooke
Because no one would. You ever fight a snook?
My dawg! 💪🏻
We want a lure making videoooo
love the glide! you should definitely change the hooks to sharper ones though
1:36 the lure hanging off his heel
Submarine circles 😂🐟
Looking for a nice saltwater low profile baitcasters for reds and snook and some small tarpon. What would you recommend?
That first lure I threw that in freshwater and hooked up on so many bass with that thing it was awsome
Nice ! they were murdering that glide bait !
When you're fishing intercoastal areas and residential dock/sea wall areas like this, does the tide really come into effect? Or do you just get out when you can 😅
The birds woke up today and chose violence peace was not an option 😂
You should try the savage gear glide baits or the diwa sp minnow
Try some quatro hooks it’s like a treble hook but with 4 points, u need bigger hooks on it no complaint
My dawg!!!
Stretchy co-poly line, work the glide a little slower and work in that famously wide side to side glide action between burns
Nice 'cuda! Let's Goo!
Great video 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Word count for every time Lawson said glide, t bone, and cuda
worst part about getting a barracuda off if you get one is they are STANKKKKY
Nice video 👍I like this video thanks for sharing stay connected
Great channel! What type of bait caster do you have? There smooth is hell.
What’s that casting rod you were throwin that top water on?
What soft plastic was stuck to your foot? @ 1:36
Any body notice the hook on his shoe look like Lawson stepped on a fluke lol
Hows that boat hanging in there? The salt eating it up? Or holding pretty good
Cudas love the glide bait

what are your setups?
Which rod is that? Action, lure weight?
Throw some wire on and do a whole cuda on glide bait video!👍🏼
I see you finally removed that seat post!
Yoooooo,Lawson no paddle board videos???
SHHHHHHHHHH!
Anyone notice the lure stuck to the bottom of Lawsons right shoe.. lmao
WHAT IS UP MAH DAWWWWWWGS
Idk why they use such small trembles in those glidebaits...maybe because they're made for bass but in saltwater id use bigger trebles
3:18 Questionable line from lawson there...
You're right and you're wrong black and Shar truce It is kind of a Louisiana color
🎣🎣
Fish crushed and birds 🐦

Third comment🤣🤣🤣
i throw that color
Not a single snook stayed pinned in this and last video... maybe assist hooks could help.
First comment
Crushed it lmao hrs upon hrs of fishing Thay did not crush that
Aren't you supposed to glide a glide-bait ? A straight crank is not the characteristic of the bait. All good in the hood....
Marine birds are the worst. Hooked a seagull once. I kinda felt bad but not really. Got what it deserved
Another 14 minutes of my life completely wasted watching jacks and barracudas being caught
