- Mike and I pick up where we left off at Carver Landing to finish our float of the entire River! The water level was low and rapidly declining so we pushed through 20+ mile days to reach Buffalo City before the river was too low to float. We saw a ton of wildlife and weathered 90°+ temps and rain showers before reaching our destination.
How in the WORLD does this video not have more views??!? Without a doubt the best video I've ever seen on the Buffalo. Great job!!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it. We sure had fun filming it!
@@evacookadventures Seems like it!!
Nice shot at 5:49! Thanks for putting this out there. Good for you!
Thanks Matt, I can’t wait for spring! Mike and I are itching to get back on the river!
Love this, keep posting your trips. I need to drag my wife out for a trip.
Do you remember the river gauge levels. Thanks for the video
I sure don’t remember but I may have taken a screenshot of the levels on BOC website before we left. I’ll see if I can locate it. I remember that it was really really low though.
I couldn’t locate my screenshot but I’m wanting to say the level at Carver was around 5.6-5.7 feet. The river was very close to drying up where it goes underground past Woolum.
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Hello Eva, I love these videos. I am a landscape painter and would love to paint some of the scenes from this video. I would love your permission to do so. Thank you - Amy Audet
A couple of artists did watercolor paintings of a scene from that video. I’d love to see an oil painting of it. You have my permission and I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos
@@evacookadventuresHi Eva! I have finished the painting. I am not sure how to share it with you on UA-cam.
Amy
