Yes, this was their debut song. The song that would set the mood, image, and direction for the group... and CUBE was drawing a blank, they didn't have a song. So Soyeon said "I'll make a song for us". The rest is history. The MV probly looks older than it is because of the budget from CUBE.
It's always a good move to have Minnie start and/or finish a song.
CUBE was such a bad company back then. No debut song or real budget for the girls and they had to do product placement in Senorita for extra money. These girls succeeded in spite of their "Management". I won't even get into CUBE and the kpop feeding frenzy over the bullying witch trials. Throw in COVID, a "cultural insensitivity scandal", and constant hate thrown at Soyeon about line distributions. It seemed like the whole world was focused on destroying this group. The haters are still trying too. Only Lion Queens could have survived in that jungle.
with these 2 recent comebacks "Tomboy" and "Nxde". they are now stronger than ever and right on the top 5 A-list Kpop girl groups for sure. they are from being destroyed and getting disbanded to the top. that's all being done literally by the girls themselves. they will have many good years ahead for them. the only sad thing is that we all know Soojin is not around to share it. (behind the media and the public, she may still be hanging out with the gals as best friends though)

As to Cube and Senorita - Senorita was the only song Soyeon made that cube didnt puish back agaisnt and it turned out to be the least well received. So now Soyeon knows that if Cube pushes back agaisnt the song then that means shes done something right xD. The product placement was also an issue among random watchers and reactors as it was almost distracting.
Basically the company Kaja funded a trip to San Franscisco where the girls recorded a six part youtube series and in return they got this level of product placement

gilde in my top 3 gg. I think Soyeon is brilliant, her creativity and imagination are off the hook. She always develops unique and interesting story lines and then delivers them in such a artful way. These girls are really so unique like their voices are something not heard in kpop. Their creative freedom and their important messages creating art is what distinguishes them frm other ggs. Even after going through so much they are still standing tall. Most of the credits go to God Soyeon ofc!
Yeah that 'Uh oh' part you mentioned from My Bag is a reference to this part in Latata
