Looks so wrong BUT at the same time it's amazing 😂. Definitely like how the Frankenstein work on the panels worked out, gives it that rough but ready look. Can you imagine that monster appearing in your rear view mirror as you're driving along 🤣🤣.
❤yeah that’s the one thing of always driving it…. It fun when my wife or someone else drives it and I can watch it! So cool to watch it move 😊

I love the exposed patch work. I'm currently doing a mechanical restoration on a 1986 saab 900spg. I'm going to leave the body in its current condition. I feel like it preserves the cars character.

Now that's a super cool Volvo. I always loved the car as a kid, but nearly 40 cm wider and 50 cm longer, it's huge!

Hate the patchwork quilt exterior look, would've been so much cooler imo to give it a classic wood sides station wagon look instead.

Yeah lots of wondering about the way it is done…. For now, I needed to get it in the road, next is to get the interior perfect! And then re visit the exterior:-))

It’s a lot tougher and a lot of prep work to get it sealed from the elements, the base coat binder was quite hard to find so that it replaces the normal undercoat!

To those that are worried about "ruining a classic", it isn't like this is the last Volvo Amazon out there. Giving new life to a car that is neglected is a good thing.

For the interior, use wood and copper/rusty metal looks. Kinda like stuff you see used in the Fallout film series!
The interior will be an interesting build out, our home kitchen is steampunk so might give you an idea of where we are going a bit 😅

Great job, Amazon restomod, Kyle from BoostedBoiz put a very shabby Honda Odyssey body on a Model S Plaid and it goes 9.5 in the 1/4 mile so it is a very surprising sleeper.
Yeah saw that one, the part in this build is actually doing all the finishing work to be able to drive it daily win comfort…. Tying it all up is where the crazy hours go into

Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy it and understand the cars purpose too.
I'm just tired of a lifted F350 having them pointed all wonky in my rearview mirror due to them having the rear dropped lol I don't think this will be out terrorizing the streets every night like the bro dozer. Only on full moons lol

Would be cool for a rear speaker exhaust. With gear changes. Just to throw the mix with.......what.
Is it electric or engined. Plus loose the rims. And have VW disc wheels with white walls.
Don’t worry, many many more details and touches left to do to show the real style, customer wheels are already designed and on the list in my head 😅
It is a shame that the original interior and dashboard could not have been used.
