Mr Pine has had an enormous effect on me for the last 38 years or so. People who favor his work, myself included, are part of a fading breed. I particularly enjoy meeting a Prine fan for the first time while strumming and having a few. I've had the pleasure of seeing him in a few different states. Thank you John...God Bless you. I saw you in the early 80's in New Brunswick, NJ. During one of your songs, the all the lights went out in the theater..for about 60 seconds. When the lights came back on, you said...."Thank God...I thought I was going blind". I nearly fell out of my seat laughing. You're the best, A fan.

I'm sure that Jesus didn't mind a little humor. I don't recall a song where Prine laughed at Jesus, but if he did, I'm sure that Jesus laughed with him. Jesus was all about atonement for the terrible trials of life.
