It is sandpaper, it wasn't colored, at 7:10 Alex asks Manuel Nascimento (the guy that doesn't speak English) if he painted it in black and he replies that he didn't. (I'm Portuguese)

It's nice, but if he doesn't share the build then sorry bud that's a big strike against him. Builds should be shared...not oh look at what I did, but no one else can have it to enjoy. Yes I get he put time into it but in life and in hobbies it's about sharing...NOT just showing off!!!
On his youtube channel he says he doesn't know LDD. But he has detailed close-ups on his Flickr page to help you recreate the body.
