    Hi Kirsten, thanks for your in-depth step by step guide. I had this as my sons b'day cake for his 18th - I know, a bit extravagant, but it was a French theme and our gift was a European trip. Since then, I haven't been able to find anyone who would make it at a reasonable price, so thanks to you I think I'm brave enough to give it a go. ❤

    Thank you for sharing this recipe and all of your tips and tricks they are incredibly generous and useful! I'll be attempting this for the first time next week for some good friends 😊
    I wanted to ask what is the benefit of adding glucose to the caramel mixture?
    I've seen a few recipes that call for it and some that don't, just curious what the difference is with the glucose added?

      Hi, glucose helps prevent crystallisation :)
