Written and composed in 1977 by Jeanie Clattenburg, this gospel song is based on Psalm 34:1, "I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth." The only biographical info available for Jeanie Clattenburg was that Jeanie was the beloved wife of Pastor Alex Clattenburg at Calvery Assembly in Winter Park Florida around 1980. She also wrote the song, "Chosen Generation".
