I had a rider the other day here in FL say “wow, an English Uber driver???” when she got in the car
My riders want a feature that insures they get a driver that habla da english..
I get a lot of riders in Los Angeles who also remark about the abundance of drivers who do not speak English well. One person told me they ordered an UberX and had a marked and licensed taxi show up, but the taxi driver didn't speak English.
They are the ones that take any trip
and make it impossible for conditions to improve
Some cant even read road signs
Walmart Spark is another huge offender of allowing illegal immigrants on the app and turning a blind eye.
Last week I called Uber. A mid aged gentleman showed up. I asked him a question and he responded he doesn’t speak English. It turned out he is fresh from Venezuela. He gave the impression of someone who was a teacher, doctor, a civil servant in Venezuela. No hate but these are the kinds of people Uber and Lyft prefer. It’s getting worse for veteran drivers. Time to find something else.

It really is a big problem! Both rideshare and delivery.
So they are earning income here, but they're not having to pay income tax on their money , because they're not even in the system.
Uber isn't an uber service. They ruined such a great brand & the way it's viewed is nothing close to uber.
They are allowing drivers who have less than a year experience behind the wheel..very dangerous..these are the people taking garbage rides

Don't forget about Walmart spark, they are by far the most welcoming to illegal drivers. Going as far as to firing store managers who dare implement ID checks even though drivers will check in with 2 or 3 accounts at a time and are constantly using new accounts under American names.

It's not that hard. The news shows tons of scooters outside of migrant shelters in Chicago and NYC. What do you think they doing? Sightseeing?? Migrant gangs rent legit Uber eats. They do the same thing at airports in major cities for cars. They are running ride-sharing into the ground.

I hear nothing but horror stories about the service from the immigrants. The language barrier is from most of the complaints that I hear from my riders . And they drive too fast.
In third world countries, traffic laws are hardly ever enforced, so people drive how they like. It’s a nightmare.
Read this the other day, many people even with hold of the language would still do rideshare. Not many want to work a job where bosses are constantly in up ur rear

Las Vegas... Wow you speak English, Me... hell in the world does this people get to drive when I have to get a business licenses, extra insurance, and even told by lyft that my car insurance is about to be up for renewal. Why is lyft charging me extra car insurance. I pay so much to work for Lyft when they take 70% of my pay and now have to deal with immigrants taking these jobs.

Most aren't licensed, they rent accounts,different drivers on same account driving 24/7

God help these customers I am not gonna allow my daughter and her boyfriend to get in another one of these. Which they very rarely have to do . I remember a customer telling me once that when they got in the driver asked if they could pull over and take a hit off of their meth pipe Then another rider when he got in there was a quart in the drink holder between the seats. Another rider got into beer bottles all at their feet dangling around. Someone that rode in a Lyft ride out in Arizona said the driver kept pointing out all the cat houses along the way and striptease bars were students young students and that’s all he could talk about throughout the trip. Disgusting.

Yes he is right. Those accounts should be deactivated. I am happy that I am the one doing the apps myself and not work for peanuts and work a regular job too.
I had ride today.. it was 5 miles 20 minutes.. rider paid $ 32 … and I got paid $ 13:45
They live 10-15 to an apartment. Hot rack the beds. They can save money doing uber 4 dollar trips. Then leave home.

Cause they saturate market why are they not deactivated
I get complaints all the time from locals and visitors to south Florida that they don't get english speaking drivers. Reason is they will take anything . I just had a rider that I pulled up and told I can take more than 3 passengers for uber x in my 2023 hybrid suv with a 3rd row of seats, I told them for 4 passengers with me they need to order me as uber xl. They called me 4 times twice more on uber x and twice on comfort , I canceled 4 times in a row 😂
