This isn’t true lol. They’ve only had complete control of the club since 2018. They had a big interview in the summer of 2019 and then covid hit which didn’t allow him to travel to England. So your statement is a lie
As an arsenal fan, the media training this guy has gone through is quite incredible
Why do you have to say "as an arsenal fan"? Lol.
Just support your flippin club. Tf is wrong with Arsenal fans
Should become a politician
Bro can't you just take things as it is, what he's saying is true, and us as fans should support the owners. Yeah they haven't been helpful for the past decade, but now they're stepping up and we must support these guys
You know what yh these guys can’t do right in the eyes of most. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t. Madness. I love my club as much as the next man but we’re in the situation we’re in and we need to get behind the team. For the first time since they took ownership of the club they actually look like they are trying to fix the problems we have. Granted some of them are of their own creation though neglect, maybe even lack of knowledge in the sport itself but ultimately the level we want to be at is difficult to achieve when you are competing against teams that can spend close to and over a billion pounds on assembling a squad. It would be completely different if we were in the situation United are in. They have spent well over a billion pound on their squad since Fergie left and look where they are! £400m Ole has had and they are no better for it. There is clearly for the first time in years an obvious strategy laid out for the development of this team and it’s going to take at least 2/3 years to get back to being competitive with the big boys. In short give the guy a break. They said judge when all the players are in the team and since they’ve been in the team we haven’t lost. Let’s see where we go by seasons end before we judge them ffs!
"when you're at the bottom there's only one way to go, thats back up" good to see josh really understands how the league system works.

Soccer is an English word coined at Eton I think and was the common term in England until the 70s. The game is Football but the sport is Association Football which is abbreviated into the common English slang "Soccer". Countries that have another form of football that is prevalent there commonly adopt the term, in fact as my school was a Union Football school our PE teachers banned the term Football in any reference other than Union and you risked getting a slap if you referred to Football as anything other than "Soccer" or "the round ball game" and that was in the 80s.

Geoff delivered big times with those questions, the interesting part is when he asked josh about how much of fan he’s and he manipulated the question brilliantly , also the fact that he came out in this 9 unbeaten run speaks volumes about the PR department in arsenal football club
Spot on. Arsenal may be a mid-table side on the pitch, but their PR team is easily top of the league
I love how he exposed the fact that Josh doesn’t know anything about football and couldn’t name a player he was inspired by growing up or who inspired his game lol

The squad now is unrecognisable: since Arteta’s first season in charge, we’ve changed 2/3 Goalkeepers, 6/12 Defenders, 6/8 Midfielders (!!) and sold 1 Striker… with an age profile of 20-23 years old when bought so that they can A. be moulded into Arteta’s vision, and B. have high resale values at the end of their first contract

Brilliant. Atleast we now have a owner that speaks and gets asked good questions that he answers. However its a long way to go before trust is built back up, something that we never really had in the first place.

Gotta hand itto him for the turnaround.
I’ve got exactly the same beard as him. Can only assume he saw me in the stadium, took a photo of me and got to work recreating it. Feel quite proud tbh.
Who cares
OK, first thing I noticed is he understand football lingo "the ground we were Goin to is a tough away fixture etc" instead of using the Americans sayings like " the stadium we were playing at is a tough place to play and our next couple of games are going to be difficult" so he's deffinetly either been living in London and getting serious media training or he's always been involved with arsenal and bcuz of very few interviews people didn't know if he understands how big of a job turning arsenal back into a top club is going to be. Atleast he understands "football talk" that's a positive
What difference does it make if he says "fixture" or "game" if the meaning is the same? It seems to me a lot less genuine for a person to pretend to speak a certain way than to speak as they normally would.
Hes been director of arsenal since 2013, plenty of time for him to get media trained to perfection.

Well said :)
@@hmt-0764 better late than never
@@bob1508 are you hearing yourself he only invested in the club because we were in crisis
@@hmt-0764 not really a crisis though, they could of sold the club not long ago but didn't, instead invested 200mil. I'm sorry but you make no sense.
Watching the All or Nothing series on Amazon, it looks like Josh actually cares about the club and players unlike his father.
Everytime he speaks of "the" Arsenal, he paints a picture of a money-making organisation:
"There's no brand, there's no club, there's no exposure anywhere in our brand like Arsenal Football Club. It's a global brand, consumes by fans all over the world. Every continent, and in every space, you see it popping up in social media. I think that when you try to compare certain things, the leagues are different, the sports are different, but a lot of the business is the same."
"You're trying to drive revenues, you're trying to please fans, and you try to win games"
At the end of the day he s a business man before anything so are all the other team directors
Don’t pretend that way of thinking doesn’t apply to every team in a major league
As much as you don’t like it, Arsenal is a business that his family owns. It’s theirs, sadly, at this moment in time anyways.
They bought it as a business. Only the sportwashing Russians and Arabs put glory before profit.
That's why i don't buy Arsenal merchandise anymore because i know my money will go to them
This interview shows that they are engaged and listening to the supporters. It’s on the right track. Big up josh Kroenke.
Good and needed interview, thank you.
What marked me the most was the tougher mentality that have to be addressed. I also believe in unity behind the squad and whole club. We are moving right, now only way to back that is deliver and results.
The interviewer is top class. Asking questions we want answered - bluntly even! 👏
This PR is top notch, he's referencing the NLD wins as one of his best moments, he's truly a smart lad
"we just getting started" yeah after 14 years of ownership and failure NOW we just getting started smh
Why all the negativity. It’s good that he’s coming out to speak. All our fans do is complain I swear
Because we've slowly gone to being a midtable team under their ownership. None of us would complain if we're fighting for the title.
@@akmal94ibrahim we’ve been on the decline long before they were 100% owners. I’m giving them a chance. See if they can do what they’re talking about
got to take your hat off to the guy... all club owners should follow his example. refreshing to see!! well done josh
For some reason I can only read Kroenke name in DT's voice. 😁
His accent is so smooth. Clear cut English. Pronunciation is sublime.
Some great questions, well done
All PR, KSE has taken our club from title challenges to an Ex great club
the only reason why arsenal football club have had sunk this low (no European football/ not challenging for Epl title) is the kroenkes. Kroenkes Out
Obviously we don’t know stuff behind the scenes but 1 season of spending the most money doesn’t show you love the club because this is what we should have been doing 5 years ago spending the most money fighting for the league and getting far in the ucl
Good to see this sort of content. A real shame most of the comments I read before posting this weren't more supportive.
