As a lifelong Gooner, I was happy to have Arteta in the midfield, as he seemed a safe pair of hands in the middle at a time where we really lacked quality. This interview was very honest and eye-opening. Everyone- the fans, the media, players always criticise the manger during a tough period of their career but Arteta has proved that you can turn it around if you are given the support and trust needed.
Excellent watch, what Mikel has done for the club has been immense. His plan was a good one, bringing in a team of hungry young players with potential was the correct option for us, given our situation. Together with Partey and Xhaka in midfield, they have done very well to be this good a unit so quickly into their development, and they are still four to five years from their peaks. The atmosphere at the club is totally different, much more positive and supportive! There is a palpable spirit of positivity to the club right now, especially at the stadium. Hopefully Mikel and the team continue to develop over the coming seasons!
The games ive been to this season have been the best in terms of atmosphere that I have ever experienced at the emirates, If we can get top 4 this season and back into the champions league I think its a massive success for the club, theres nobody better than Mikel Arteta hes the best looking spaniard we know 😍
The all or nothing documentary has really changed my views on arteta for the better you can clearly see he knows what he’s talking about! And he’s great with the team
I'm a City fan - BECAUSE OF PEP,.... and I'm so happy to see the rise of Arteta & his Arsenal. I will be so happy if City & Arsenal take the top two spots, in any order. Pep & Arteta are the future.
We're so lucky to have Super Mik. I really hope Stan gives him the cash he requires. We're very close to playing the best football I've seen for a very long time. It's so great being an Arsenal fan now.
Ever since mikel was interviewed when he signed for Arsenal. He made a point that was pretty clear, He said he wants other clubs to be scared when they enter emirate stadium which Arsenal fans called the fortress ground. One major observation was the trial and error for a midfielder, he signed Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid it failed and he tried Oodegard from the same club. Here were are it’s a win-win for the club and the fans. Great job Arteta. I am sure Arsene Wenger will be so pleased with his managerial performance.
I love the fact that if a player doesn't buy into what he's aiming for then they're out the door no dramas. This is his team and that's why they're looking as good as they are
You see now why the media loves him and wants him to succeed. He’s like a little boy with so much passion for the game. He has this fantasy in his head on how to play the beautiful game and is putting into practice slowly. I have always liked him from Day 1. Upwards and forwards! COYG!
Arteta is one of the best young managers in Europe, Edu was correct in backing him and sticking with him. Even if you don't support Arsenal you have to respect what he's built at Arsenal.
14 games in and Arteta is now rated as the 3rd world best manager by arsenal fans. And theres a revolution at the club. The cali bud down london ways must be laced with spice Sensational geoff.
For me, one of the few things the board has done right in the past few seasons is renewing Mikel's contract when results were bad as a show of complete confidence in him.
Mike Arteta, Graham Potter & Eddie Howe are proper examples of "to give coaches time!!!". It's not always instant impact but slowly and surely we'll see Lampard joining these ranks
We are still trusting the process and personally, I will continue to trust the process. Mikel is a great manager who understands the modern football. He has a lot of tactical plans to change a football match and also to change the atmosphere and mentality of players. Winning another major trophy will silence the doubters..... COYG💖
People forget how difficult it was when Arteta became our manager! Our worst squad in decades, joined midway through the season, covid, awful defence, frustrated fans. When Wenger became our manager, he inherited the best defence in Europe, Bergkamp and Wright up front, he just needed to sort our midfield out and we won the league. Respect to Arteta. COYG!
Wenger did get lucky for sure, but his ideas were way ahead of the time. He was blessed with a squad that instead of rejecting his 'crazy' ideas gave them a go and reaped the rewards

What a lovely being
He will be the worlds best manager in 3 years and I hope he shows the loyalty we shown him. Just love the man.
I wouldn’t exchange Arteta for any other coach for arsenal, he’s just perfect for us
Agree. He knows the FOGGIN standards of this football club 😂
@@serene1915 😂😂 LETS FOGGN GO
@@aegonbreakspear9102 come on guyyysss, these are the foggin estandards
In your dreams lol he will not going any were .Benito
I would swap him with the Pep a few years ago.
Pep now has betrayed tiki taka football. He plays a big tall striker and play direct, less entertaining football.
This man is a real coaching beast.Hope u win trophies with arsenal, love u mikel
What I love about this guy, that he isn’t putting a blame or single names, ever. He’s speaking in general and very intelligent to not touch anyone’s feelings or give a chance to someone to criticize him as well. Hats down to Mr. Mikel Arteta.
As a lifelong Gooner, I was happy to have Arteta in the midfield, as he seemed a safe pair of hands in the middle at a time where we really lacked quality. He seemed to be a leader on the pitch, but if I remember right injuries really cut down on his playing time towards the end of his playing days. Very impressed with the improvement he's brought to the team, he was definitely dealt a rough hand at the start but you can see he's followed through with his vision, and I'm glad the Arsenal execs have given him the time and backing to do so.
I remember when cone layer was captain of Arsenal when u were getting battered and embarrassed every week in Europe, notably 10 - 2 on agg by Bayern Munich. Oh we laughed 😂
He was absolutely useless and here is 400m quid lighter still winning nothing big.
@@cluckingbell1772 knockout game in champions league , ill take it
@@firstlast459 I think so but tbh i can't remember as it was so long ago!
It's says everything that when the last time Arsenal were playing in the CL their current failure of a manager was failing as a player too getting battered in Europe every week🤣
Being an Arsenal fan for many years, I've had a mixture of joyful and worst days, but with Arteta, this season is all about joy for me and I like it a lot!
carra is a fantastic interviewer, every single question he asked was one I would ask mikel myself!
This interview was very honest and eye-opening. Everyone- the fans, the media, players always criticise the manger during a tough period of their career but Arteta has proved that you can turn it around if you are given the support and trust needed.
Proud of Jamie's career in the media, he's such a good interviewer even if you can hardly understand him.
After Arsene, I didn't think we'd get another coach as classy as he was. Arteta fits in perfectly. Proud of my club and their culture
I think all our managers Names have to start with "Ar" from now on
Just watched this..what a guy. Can't wait for part 2
One of the best managers on the planet.
Steady now.
I support arsenal and all but this statement is false.
He is, time will tell.

I said it 3 years ago and I’ll say it again. You’ll realise one day, as will the rest of the masses (when it’s too late and beyond obvious).
@@tomashehir Relax mate.
The games ive been to this season have been the best in terms of atmosphere that I have ever experienced at the emirates, If we can get top 4 this season and back into the champions league I think its a massive success for the club, theres nobody better than Mikel Arteta hes the best looking spaniard we know 😍
Spot on. Been buzzing over there every game this season. Roll on boxing day 🔴⚪️
19 min already??! Felt like 5. I listen to this man for hours
The all or nothing documentary has really changed my views on arteta for the better you can clearly see he knows what he’s talking about! And he’s great with the team
Best TV comedy for years
@@cluckingbell1772 why so salty 🤣🤣🤣
@@jugglingmaster2 Probably poor acting and bias editing...
Out of Arsenal asa Gunner I respect him as an individual. He'll get success what he deserves! Big character. We're lucky to have him in our club!
Big arsenal fan here been through the good times and the bad times but love this club again thanks to super mik and carragher is a top pundit now 👍🏽
I'm a City fan - BECAUSE OF PEP,.... and I'm so happy to see the rise of Arteta & his Arsenal. I will be so happy if City & Arsenal take the top two spots, in any order.
Pep & Arteta are the future.
We’ve got SUPER MIK ARTETA!
He knows exactly what we need
Arsenal are in Europa League
@@mohammeda7731 Until next season
Magical Arteta,Keep doing things for us, much love from Nairobi Kenya
We're so lucky to have Super Mik. I really hope Stan gives him the cash he requires. We're very close to playing the best football I've seen for a very long time. It's so great being an Arsenal fan now.
Arteta is on his way on becoming the Geatest Manager of all time.
Let’s calm down. See first if he can replicate the start of Arsene’s career, let alone the prime.
Just goes to show what happens when you actually give a manager time.
Edit. I'm not an arsenal fan so didn't realise he'd spent 300 million.
Has to be a good manager though
not just any manager.
And 300million.
@@FountainOfYoot 300m over 3 years considering where they are now is nothing
@@FountainOfYoot Very ignorant. Certain clubs spend that in a summer window
Jamie asks amazing questions and great answers from Arteta, overall really insightful interview
I hope he wins something huge for us, EPL, 🏆 Europa League 🏆 or Champions league. He has really turned the boat into the right direction.
COYG!
Brilliant young manager. Still room for improvement but I don’t doubt he’ll grow into one of the worlds best
8th, 8th and 5th
Legend mate
Arteta is one of the best young managers in Europe, Edu was correct in backing him and sticking with him. Even if you don't support Arsenal you have to respect what he's built at Arsenal.
How is he one of the best please tell me he’s has spent 400 million and come 8th 8th 5th u just fancy him
Great questions from Cara! Walks you through every step of his development
14 games in and Arteta is now rated as the 3rd world best manager by arsenal fans. And theres a revolution at the club.
The cali bud down london ways must be laced with spice
Sensational geoff.
He's going all the way to the top. My manager
For me, one of the few things the board has done right in the past few seasons is renewing Mikel's contract when results were bad as a show of complete confidence in him.
Mike Arteta, Graham Potter & Eddie Howe are proper examples of "to give coaches time!!!". It's not always instant impact but slowly and surely we'll see Lampard joining these ranks
no we won't Lampard is poor
Bruh…
my manager!!
First rate interview. Well done, Carra. Arteta will reach the absolute pinnacle of the game
Excellent interview. Good questions and excellent answers by Arteta. Gotta give credit to how he has revitalized the team.
If only people can see how intelligent this guy is, no doubt he will be the best manager for many many years after Pep and Klop.
Better than klop
He's just repeating the same buzzwords
We are still trusting the process and personally, I will continue to trust the process. Mikel is a great manager who understands the modern football. He has a lot of tactical plans to change a football match and also to change the atmosphere and mentality of players. Winning another major trophy will silence the doubters..... COYG💖
The away Arteta turn around things at Arsenal since his arrival is something incredible.
8th, 8th and 5th after spending 400m quid.

Such a great guy with pure clarity of thought! MA will be a super coach sooner than later.
There are life lessons in this talk you know. Love this guy.
2020/21 season was character building for Arteta.
Arteta is the man, to take this institution back to where it should be. Once an Arsenal man ,always an Arsenal man.
