@kellymarie124 I feel that way about so many of the updo videos I do! I wish I had places to wear them! Thank you for commenting, encouragement is always a blessing :).
@redsummerwings Well, I think a lot of my videos are appropriate for brides; I just haven't titled them that way, because that really limits the audience, you know? But I think if a bride were to look through the styles she could find something she liked :). Anyway, all that to say, I have some videos that would be good for that, and I do plan on doing more updos in the future, so there's a good chance something like that will come up :).
i wore this last night for my university formal and it was fantastic!!!
i got so many compliments and people assumed i had got my hair professionally styled!
i tweaked it a little to suit me better by simply curling a few front pieces of my hair rather than braiding them!

Thank you sweetheart...This helped me with my daughter's medium length hair. Her 7th and 8th grade class had a winter formal and all of the stylists in our small town were booked! ugh...but your tutorial made it easy to create a sweet and different style. I'm so glad you took the time to post this!

You may hear it everyday, but your videos are so helpful!! I'm addicted to your hairstyles, specially this one from Jessica Alba, I was in love for it and now I'll try to do it as you say. I'd like to see more everyday styles!!

@indiaashlee You could. What I would do is to make a deep side part and braid the hair slightly over the forehead in a dutch braid that only incorporates hair from the top (I think my 5 ways to wear your hair down video shows a brad like that), just make sure to curve the braid so it finishes along the parted section like it would have if you had followed the normal way. And I'd braid the other side the same as the original just starting off center. Hope that helps :/.
I tried it so many times using other descriptions and i got so confused! this has made it so much clearer! it's actually pretty easy! thank you!!!
@berniertree Yes, you could incorporate them into the braids, or if you really wanted you could leave them down, but the overall look would be much different were you to leave them down.

Oh my God I'm in love.
I'm pretty sure I've sat here for like an hour watching your How-to videos to get ideas on stuff for my hair and others hair. I'm always doing really unique updo styles incorporating braids and curls and people always compliment it and are shocked when I tell them I did it myself. With a few of your techniques I plan on shocking people some more!:) you definitely have a subscription from me!:)
Just an fyi... I see a lot of comments complaining about you explaining everything...but I think that is KIND OF the point of a tutorial...I think you do an amazing job!!

great look.. i had my eye on it for quite a long time, but wasn't sure exactly how to do it... your tutorial helped me A LOT.... was a bit difficult since i have long and really heavy hair, but with a ton of bobby pins and hairspray it managed to keep it on my head...was a great hairstyle for a wedding i attended last weekend. Love watching your videos because we have the same hair color and eyes. Most tutorials girls have either black or platinum blonde hair.

@loosepearls I think it was 20-30 minutes on me, because I was doing it on the back of my own head, and it's quite hard to see lol.

Wow, thanks a lot for posting it!! I'd always loved this look of hers, and now that I know exactly how to do the hair (I'd always stopped at the french braids on the sides, I didn't know how to put together the bun afterwards), I'm definitely going to try it!! So thanks again, and keep up! ;)
I think this one could also be very casual when you make a ponytail with the braids in it, instead of making a bun :D

@pinksunflower516 Yeah, I did them dark cause I was planning to do a smokey eye then changed my mind lol. The first time I read your comment I read "elbows" and I was like what the heck? My elbows are dark? This makes no sense! haha :).
