I44, I like riding mine more than my bike and I love to bike, but there's something more satisfying about this. Kickbike may best both worlds option.. When people look it feels like curiosity since they see the kicking instead of electric and they see satisfaction on your face. It's fun!

Bought one yesterday, at first i felt a little weird but excited to ride it. Went outside but then i saw some people looking at me like 😱 And i didn’t even care, because i had so much fun. That’s what it’s all about, you having fun!!
I see people looking at me...usually, the people sitting stuck in traffic as I zoom past.
Ordered one of these to assist in my cancer rehab... didn't realise there was a weight limit! Currently losing weight to use the scooter that was going to help me lose weight! Haha!
The Oxelo is very well built as you know and I'm sure the weight limit is fairly conservative. If it were a choice of having to replace the bearings every year due to increased wear or not riding, I'd choose the former. PS. I'm not an engineer ;) Hai

Hi Fernando, thanks for checking out the video. Apart from a few scratches, the Town 9 has held up well. I've been using it about once a week on average but it is getting into winter now so this may reduce. I've found the hard rubber wheels don't do so well in wet conditions.
People still stare a little bit but it's more a look of envy ;) Hai

I got my Town 9 a few days ago so far I love it!!! Only thing I would change is give it a proper kickstand instead of the half folded position stand.
Do you like it over imperfections in the street? It's smooth over cracks, etc? Thanks

I have the Oxelo Town 5 and it's pretty nice too. My fiancé needs one now so I had a look on amazon and you can get a pretty good quality adult scooter for less than Oxelo/Decathlon. Got a nice full suspension model for under £50.
I'm planing to get one electric kick scooter. But is this legal for Japan roads such on bicycle lanes and side.walks??

I've done a few test with an ActionCam mounted to the Town 9 while riding on regular sidewalks but even though it's got front suspension the video is unusable due to vibration. May need to invest in a gimbal ;) Hai

Very nice video. I replaced the hard wheels for air wheels. Little bit less speed but much more comfortable.

@@gibsondegroot7900 did you had to do any modification? Or they fit right in? Also, how are they on sidewalk? Can't take my scooter to work, because it shakes and vibrates a lot over stone sidewalk
Ricardo Pinheiro They fit right in.sidewalk is fine to, but the softer wheels give a little more resistance, so the speed is lower.

Currently, I have a Hoolay kickscooter on the way. Eventually I'll get this baby as well. Look up the Hoolay, as I think you'll like it.
Wow, the Hoolay looks pretty awesome! Before deciding on the Oxelo, I looked into a scooter with pneumatic wheels for the smoother ride but couldn't justify the extra size and weight. Although seeing the Hoolay has me second guessing my decision 🤔 Much fun either way. Hai
Now that I have the Hoolay, I wish I had bought the scooter you've reviewed here. The pneumatic tires are nice, but being only 35psi, there're too soft for a bigger rider (ME!). I'll need to upgrade them to Schwalbe tires, and eventually swap out the rims for a set of aluminum ones I own.

Black L.A.Sports Urban 230
and
white Hudora Big Wheel Style 230.
LA has longer board, it is much cheaper than Hudora, but it rides and maneuvers better. It also has both 230 mm wheels, not like Hudora which has a 200 mm back wheel. That 200 mm wheel slows down the scooter a lot when riding on uneven surface. Hudora has the looks though :) , maybe on par with your scooter, looks very stylish with black and white.
