I'm new to your videos, but I've found them much better edited, less stilted and generally more enjoyable that most other such sites. I especially enjoy it when you "overlay" and blend yourself into a scene playing different parts of a musical arrangements, but, mostly, you have the eyes of and artist, so you see the beauty and you pick and choose the best bits out of the video you shoot. But, more importantly - for a fellow learning new or tried and true construction techniques for his own boat project dream - you reveal and explain the techniques the two of you have used successfully. Thank you . . .

I love your video productions and I can see now why. Personally though, the one thing that elevates your productions above the rest Maya is your gift for story telling. I watched almost every episode of your stunning series North through the continent, and those times I was unable to, I listened to like a podcast. What struck me was your narrative was so immersive and engaging, it was a complete exerience in its own right. That really takes a special talent. Wishing you both every success in the rebuild and your future adventures.

Hi! I have been watching all your videos so far, but this one is truly epic! I live fulltime aboard a 31ft sailboat myself. And watching your channel have been at a great inspiration on my own journey. After my opinion Maya's voice is one of the most beautiful on UA-cam and Aladino is one of the best teachers ever when it gets to boatwork on YT. The honest and joyful approach to the sailboat life is something I really enjoy to watch! Your my all time favourite YT channel. I'm a student for the next years. But as soon as I get a steady income. I will join you guys on Patreon. Keep up the good work!

Dear Maya, thank you for your inspiring thoughts about the role of artistic discipline in your creative journey. My husband and I create stage musicals and he has a lively song composed many moons ago… “ the party is the process of getting the job done”; it describes our commitment from inspiration to realization and all the beautiful moments in between. I do so enjoy all the elements of your videos-your engaging collaboration with Aladino, the nuts and bolts of sailing, the melodic interweaving of sound, image and story!❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Thanks for chatting about the video making process. I appreciate the 4k video quality and the UA-cam channels which have a freshness and naturalness which many professional media organisations e.g. the BBC in the UK, simple can not match. UA-cam people are real - rather than injected into a video molded view. I really enjoy videos where the creators take delight in crafting something of great beauty.
Another appealing aspect are creators who are willing to take risks and lead a more adventurous life - it encourages the more cautious to step out of our comfort zones. We should all do somethig scarey at least once a day?
    Thank you 🙂

THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!!!! When we begin our official shopping soon we will be making videos to do pretty much the same thing and of course, supporting you both and this really helps. WE LOVE YOU BOTH!! and THANK YOU so much for all the information you provide us! My friend Eric was very physically and mentally ill. To support him I helped him to make his little videos, he passed away on Jan 18th 2022 suddenly. I miss him dearly! So making videos of our lives together is extra special because although I never wanted to air our lives like that I agreed to allow it so he could do it and now he is dead before we could begin and that is why Marina and I are going to do something very similar to you both and this video will help us to do that and once again we are very thankful! As a practical person I follow with great anticipation.
I love UA-cam and watch a varied content. BUT. Lots of interesting topics are spoiled by bad camera shots that are so awful that although I love the subject I have to switch off.
It is apparent that you have grasped the idiom of film making and you actually realise that to make a success of it you need to study, learn and most importantly have a flair for it.
