Good Morning from Sunny Florida, the ole saying is " A farmers work is never done " and you always prove this to be true. And a road trip can rob the hours in a day. At least here in Florida, a 5 mile trip could take you 20 min or 2 hrs. Theres so much traffic. Enjoy your evening with your family.❤

Hey Tyler, good idea to do some of the past video highlights. Some ideas would be buddies life or all the bottle calfs. Highlights of all the calfs you had to help pull out of the cows. Also to see when you’re gonna finish the tractor You’ve been working on for over a year. Questions about your fields that you over seeded with the extra seed you had from the hayfield. I know highlights are harder to edit but just a thought. Keep up the great work.

We got heavy rain in northern Sac area too. Too bad. A sprinkle or two ok but heavy yick.I'm old and tired of the cold. I know fires will start soon everywhere but let me be selfish for a few days. I am dying and can't afford my medication. I enjoy watching you. Babies are a joy.

You’ve had a lot of things to get to and was able to “get er done “ with no worries. Your family is wonderful and happy, so pleased to see you are so blessed. Also enjoyed the bottled calves trying to find there way back into the corral. God’s blessings always to you and yours!❤❤❤

I'm guessing you've already decided against using funny pipe for the sprinklers out there, but I think it would be a lot more durable. Much less brittle than rigid pipe. You could zip tie the head to a section of t-post still. Just an idea.
All the best to you guys!

Perhaps someone has already mentioned this but if not; try a ram bit to make necessary repairs on pvc schedule 40 pipe fittings. Like you, every spring I’m repairing the broken irrigation risers that my cows break. Many times the risers brake at the tee on the mainline. The ram bits come in different standard pipe fitting sizes. They enable you to drill out the fitting and reuse it again. I get mine at the local plumbing wholesale vendor or a pool supply store. This product has saved me lots of time by not having to put a new tee on the mainline. Cows have no respect. I enjoy the videos. My embryo transplant bull calf is coming along nicely and is in training.

Greg Judy says that cattle don't like standing on gravel. He uses gravel at the access point of watering holes in order to keep the cows moving. Get a drink and get out. I wonder if you could protect the sprinklers by putting gravel around them. I'm thinking like a 6 foot diameter area around the sprinklers.

I think you should go back to a Hereford bull or a Hereford angus cross? If you go with the cross go with a super high quality one because their calves can be a little randomly sized. But I think the baldies you have are an underrated asset to your heard. Maybe 1-2 seasons with some Hereford genetics sprinkled back in would be a great look!

You can usually remove leftover parts of plastic pipe with a screwdriver (like what's in the tee). Then you can then cut the raiser end square and glue into tee. Sometimes..... You can also drill out the tee. Much easier than repairing the main line.

I gather you have underground main - that’s a dream of ours - but do the cattle run in that paddock and therefore break the risers/sprinklers?? We certainly can not run cattle in our paddock with our spray lines anywhere in their paddock as they just knock them over step on them, bend them and so on.
