BEWARE OF SUB FRAME BOLTS ON ALL MK6/MK7 MODELS they refuse to recall their response was;
'I then spoke with Steve again as you explained to me that he had told you they were aware of the problem but that Volkswagen were refusing to do anything about. Having raised this point with Steve, he explained to me that he is aware the problem has been raised in Volkswagen USA. However, as Volkswagen UK are the official importer for the vehicle, I am only able to comment on vehicles that are intended for the UK market. At present, there are no recalls or service campaigns for your vehicle specifically.'
IF YOU LIVE IN THE UK, WORRY NOT, THE BOLTS FALLING OUT OF YOUR SUBFRAME IS ONLY A RISK TO USA CUSTOMERS.
