You're the first one mentioning the firm suspension, good catch.

Good review. Happy to report the software issues are updated. Consumption in summer is much improved - sub 15 Kw/100 Km.

Just come back from a 320m round trip mainly on U.K. motorways (M6/M5), drive as normal and returned 4.2 with air con etc. Comfy, quiet and ACC works very well. 50K rapid charge for a lunch stop. Great motor.

Need people's opinion about the ID3. Because I am going to buy the car. And are spare parts available? And what about maintenance. Is this car worth it?

More weight, especially in the centre, makes the car feel more stable and solid. I love the drive. Totally agree that I cant go back to ICE after the EV.

Having "higher consumption in cold weather" as a con is a bit harsh, given that applies to pretty much every EV!

Nice review, a bit more info for drivers than other reviews.

Thanks, our first youtube review :-) Other reviews coming soon ( Audi e-tron GT, Audi e-tron Sportback, Renault Zoe, Mazda MX-30 ...)

I liked the way you presented this review but are you sure that the id3 doesn't feel quick of line. They say it's as fast as a GTI up to 30mph

🤔🤔🤔 Apple carplay/android auto/route planning with recharging stations are all already added many weeks ago in the software.

You're right. We were filming at a time when those features weren't available. We put a notification label at 11:58 We should have emphasized it more to avoid this misunderstanding.

11:05 That is the most brilliant idea of operating four windows with two fewer buttons. The rear window switch has the same concept as the switch for the outside rearview mirrors. There's only a toggle switch to control L, R, Fold, & Heated outside rearview mirrors. So, in the same concept, there are two switches to control F & R windows. Also, this can open and close all windows with one button. That's KISS theory - Simplicity not, complexity applied to the highest order.

Actually the energy goes warming up the battery, not cabin.

That's pretty poor efficiency for a brand new design - around 3.2 miles per kwh (makes most sense to me, familiar format, easy to calculate range etc), I've had an e-Niro with similar power/weight/size for a few weeks and in similar conditions with 50/50 dual-carriageway 70mph and town driving I'm averaging 3.9 miles per kwh. My BMW i3 gets similar to the iD3 but a pretty ancient design by EV standards.
