Trail Cameras Set over Coyote Traps!

This video is the end of my 22 & 23 trapping season. although no animals were caught in this video. I learned a lot by having the trail cameras set over them and how they come in to work the sets. I would recommend anyone to try this weather you are the best trapper or you are just getting in to trapping. There's alway something new to learn on the trapline.

They did`nt have video back in my day books were the way to go, But being far back in the ultra rural regions they all ways pushed on clearing all your equipment clothes and all of human scent, masking the steel scent on traps with various methods. Those methods did do better but I can see the camera will teach you their habits when they find the sets stuff witch had to be learned the slow way back then . Then you can get around those sly ones that dig your sets up and poop on them because they smell human. Alot of folks don`t go the scent free way these days because it`s a bit more work . WE used to have dedicated storage areas for our stuff away from the home never wash your gear, when you do run water thru your machine first then use only certain type cleaners some of with can be found in those books, dedicated gloves for setting overall it got more game. The right scents and baits will help along the line also

Hey dude thank for your feedback this was my first year of setting cameras over the traps. I just wanted to see how they reacted to the set the first couple of days when your scent is still there. And I was surprised because I go through all the steps to have all my setting equipment scent free. Thanks for watching!
