No problem buddy! I wanted to show how I make a set maybe give you a little better understanding of how I catch em . That will work for Bobcat to but if you're trying to catch a cat only. I would hang some kind of flag over it for an attraction. I can show it better in a video 📹 than what I can explain it. Thanks again for watching

Deer season ends in 2 days here in Mississippi. I predator control trap on my own land but don't trap during deer season so as not to disturb the area and spook deer away. But I will be starting up my trapline shortly. Our season runs through March 15 so plenty of time to get rid of some critters. Will post a few videos on my channel as I work my line.
Awsome Thank you for the support! Our deer season gun deer season closed in November. But bow season is still in this weekend I believe. I usually wait until our gun season closes or I get my deer which ever comes first. And our trapping is will close February 28th. Thanks again for the support and I'll check out your channel as well

My favorite set is step down set when the ground will allow it second is flat set especially in the spring and summer months I do dirt holes bout 40% of time keep up the good work

So glad you subbed my channel. Valuable info here!! Sat down with the hubs last night to watch a few coyote trapping videos (guess what we have problems with). As newbies to trapping can you tell me how to determine where the optimal place is to set a trap? I’m sure this is basic knowledge but we are starting with zero knowledge on the subject. Thanks for your important videos! Folks need to know how to do this correctly!
Thank you! I really appreciate the kind words! I'm glad to help anyone wanting to maintain a healthy population of wildlife! Bc when there's too many of one species. It puts a strain on them and many others. For instance I caught several last season with mange etc. Which is a horrible way to live. And if you get them to a manageable level they all live a healthier life. Thanks

Very nice set. I like how you are careful where you lay the lid to your lures. Nothing worse than looking for a lid for 10 min.😂

I caught a bobcat but I wanted a coyote.
Hope you get that coyote soon. Bobcats do get caught in the coyote sets from time to time.
Keep the dirt hole simple,don't over think it.!
