When I started doing makeup I used to buy every other product which came into market. Overtime I realized that more than just brand and products it's the skill and creativity that matters most. I am not saying we shouldn't buy good products but we can use the products for multi purpose. For example, I use eye shadow to fill in brows, mascara to set the brows, sheer eye shadow as highlighter (teeny weeny bit is enough), .... And many more. As for the video, that model has got really beautiful eyes. The way she looks into the camera. 😊
That "medium" shadow wouldn't be a medium shade for everyone now would it... Think about POC, that would be a good brow bone highlight color......come on Bobbi Brown. 😋
Gorgeous faces are not the canvas to show your skills, try women of colour, women with mature skin, different eye shapes, faces tht need contouring, this model was beautiful without any makeup.

So she isn't exactly a realistic example. However, Bobbi brown makeup is exquisite. Exquisite things don't come cheap. It was just too fast, camera was far and the model was too perfect to pop out the most light makeup and make it stand out!! If I try that light eye make up on me, i will look like I just woke up!! Make up tutorials- Please please use models who look regular, as in, with skin problems like scars, age spots, dark circles, small eyes, hooded eyes etc... use ppl like me and show how we can “stand out “, through make up (if and when we feel like using make up, to show off that girly side of us ) !! Then I will like, admire and compliment your art/work/talent!! She looked good but then it was obvious!!
